Kama Sutra: A Tale of Love (1996)
A Sapphic scene between two beautiful Indian women-can things get any better?
The highlight of this film is a Sapphic scene between two unfeasibly beautiful Indian women.(Calm down now, lads!). It is brief, but very tastefully done. However, judicious use of the slow motion facility on one's remote control can extend this scene most satisfactorily.
Stripper (1985)
An interesting documentary
This is a "documentary" about female strippers who are taking part in a stripping contest. (Do such contests exist?) Most of the women who are featured in the film are reasonably good-looking, and you do get to see them perform. This is definitely one to be watched with one finger on the pause button, if you know what I mean.
Vampyros Lesbos (1971)
A classic for the "solitary" viewer.
Yes, the soundtrack to this film is amazing. Yes, it is a kitsch class retro classic. Yes, it features some remarkable low-budget film techniques. But let it never be forgotten that this film is is, above all else, one of the best movies ever for watching with one finger on the pause button (if you know what I mean).
Alice in Acidland (1969)
Cannabis turns young women into nympho lesbians.
The first part of this film is extraordinarily inept. It has a voice-over instead of dialogue, and tells the tale of a college girl who smokes marijuana and becomes a crazed lesbian. At the end of the film she drops acid and has a full-colour lesbian fantasy, that inevitably drives her insane. The wild lesbian fantasy is not too badly done, and requires extensive use of the pause button.
Follow That Camel (1967)
Anita Harris in Belly Dance Shocker!
This film features Anita Harris, cast against type as a Middle Eastern dancer and temptress. I always regarded Anita Harris as a wholesome family entertainer, so to see her performing a belly dance in this film wearing a skimpy costume was something of a trouser-popping surprise.
Getting Physical (1984)
Not a great film, but worth watching for female bodybuilding contest scene.
Despite appalling script and acting, this film is well worth seeing. This is because it features a (fictional) female bodybuilding contest which features many of the early stars of the sport, such as Rachel McLish, Lisa Lyons and Candy Csentsits. They all look very beautiful, not like today's gargantuan female bodybuilders. This section of the film should definitely be watched with one finger on the pause button (if you know what I mean!)
