How I Met Your Mother: Ten Sessions (2008)
Sarah Chalke Overlooked!!
Supreme episode; and not because of that totally non-memorable turn by whats-her-name. Its too bad that Sarah was overlooked; because she and Josh Radnor displayed a great chemistry in a totally believable story line. The date scene at the end was a supreme example of excellent writing; great direction; wonderful acting tight editing;and comic timing. It was Just totally believable and throughly well done; and worthy of multiple DVR replays! If Scrubs ever ends (and I don't want to see that happen) Sarah has a great continuing character to pick up and develop in this ever-improving comedy. Here's one hoping that Sarah is indeed the title "mother"! Advice to Britney: Keep your pants on; and stick to the gossip rags. Limited dance moves; minimal singing ability; even more limited and minimal singing ability; and limitless sub-teen appeal have no place in prime-time.
Pariah (1998)
Powerful and Disturbing Image of a fringe culture
Pariah is not your feel good date movie - but it is a raw look into the fringe culture of those who hate, the Skinheads.
Done in a true point of view without the big-budget trappings of slick sets, mainstream sound clips in the background or recognizable talent, the cast and crew pulled off a mean feat: I left this movie shaken up - How does one reach people who have no sense of humanity toward anyone different from themselves??
