Happy Face Murders (1999)
Ann-Margret does it again!
"Happy Face Murders" is a murder mystery that is too weird to be true, but believe it or not IT IS! Ann-Margret is nothing short of brilliant in her role as Lorraine...it's very hard to even recognize Ann-Margret as a frumpy grandmother, that's how convincing she is. I definatly recommend this movie it is suspenseful, funny, and well acted.
Newsies (1992)
BAD BAD MOVIE
I found "Newsies" impossible to sit all the way through! The plot line was okay but the music was horrible and the boys were annoying. The only thing mildly interesting was two short scenes with legendary actress Ann-Margret who sings the only good songs in the film. Don't waste your time!
Following Her Heart (1994)
Ann-Margret give another Emmy worthy performance...story lacking
Ann-Margret is once again the only thing that keeps this predictable story about a Swedish country singer, interesting. She gives a great performance and hence makes the movie enjoyable despite it's lacking storyline. Her singing in the movie is good, but the thought of a Swedish country singer (whose accent is thick as molasses) is a little far fetched. A good effort worthy of our attention.
The Two Mrs. Grenvilles (1987)
Ann-Margret and Colbert make this a triumph!
Ann-Margret definitely deserved the Emmy nomination she received for her role in "the Two Mrs.Grenvilles" she is no less than brilliant. Colbert is just as good and the two on screen together is just the greatest thing ever! The movie itself is just as great!
Joseph Andrews (1977)
Yes! A-M CAN act!
"Joseph Andrews" would be just another comical period piece if it were not for the fantastic performace of Ann-Margret who's comical timing is never off once. Her accent is flawless and she looks terrific as always! A-M makes "Joseph Andrews" the classic it should be.
