It had some funny parts and it had Will Smith what more can you ask? His nude body was in the movie and he looked damn good. And a few of the one liners made it worth it. But of course it was outrageously contrived and mildly offensive but what can you expect from the director of MIB.

The movie itself isn't all that astounding. I was impressed by Will Smith. He seemed able to carry off most of the jokes very well. Though many seemed tasteless. It was a fun movie for people of all ages and I'd recommend it to anyone. I gave it a 9.

A waste of a whole lot of Money

This movie had few shining moments. The attempt to give Bottom more depth was terrible and a waste of valuable screen time. The humor is found in the stupid portrayal of the characters than in the script of this timeless classic. I would like to see it set in the 1970s like it was in a play version I saw. The time period this movie was set in was not notable at all and the bicycle usage was just silly.

This is a movie one can watch over and over again. It's packed with good songs and good emotion. My only complaint is it's the longest one day ever. But I love the characterization of the characters even if they are slightly stereotypical.
