Left Behind (2000)
Jerry Falwell's favorite movie, obviously
This is, I think a first: force-christianity-on-you christians are now using Hollywood as a medium for Missionary conversion. Society has now regressed to the level where you're expected to pay 7 bucks to be religously harassed. Thank God for the exorcist, or this movie would have nothing to counterbalance it.
The Beastmaster (1982)
One of the coolest movies of all time.
The Beastmaster is one of the coolest movies of all time, and it it definitely the best action movie of all time. The fantasy behind it rocks. The Beastmaster is the star wars of Barbarian movies. I really fail to see one fault in it at all. It is by far that most entertaining movie I have ever seen. Plus, most people don't even pay attention to this, but sit down and listen to the Beastmaster Theme: it's exillerating. The theme just thunders. Eat your heart out, John Williams!
U-571 (2000)
Historical Rip-off
In this movie, the US Navy is given credit for the accomplishments of the Royal Navy. The movie circulates around the capture of the enigma device (the code device for deciphering the secret codes of the German Navy) from a Nazi U-Boat. According to the movie, the brave Americans hijack the U-boat and smuggle it and the enigma device back to the United States. In reality, what happened was that the British Navy captured the enigma device from a U-boat before it sank. This was in 1941-for all intents and purposes before the US Navy was even in the war. I just thought that everybody should know of the lies this movie is telling the public, and prevent the US from becoming a world such as that described in 1984.
Don't Be a Menace to South Central While Drinking Your Juice in the Hood (1996)
This movie is so bad it deserves a rating of its own.
Ok, I will make this review short and to the point for those people whose mental capacity is perfect for watching this movie. Everybody knows of Motion Picture Association of America's ratings: G, PG, PG-13, R, and NC-17. For the purposes of this movie, I think the MPA should create a new rating standard: IQ-20.
When the Wind Blows (1986)
The Best Movie of all time.
I think that this is one of the best movies of all time. Animated by the same animator who was responsible for the non-dialogue cartoon "The Snowman": the animation is great. The use of David Bowie as the singer for the musical score is a particularly effective cinematic device. This movie really makes you think about human existence. This is also a highly effective attack on the cold war.
