Romancing SaGa 3 (1995)
one word: great music!
The only solid reason I ever played this VG (video game) is because of its great gigantic music! Kenji Ito has done a great job here. He is a Japanese composer who always create music with timpani and fast-constant bass moving. Not only that, he also use a lot of what I called 'strange' chords, which are chords that rarely been used by any movie or VG composer, yet sounds BEAUTIFUL! Some of the slow songs composed by him are irresistably nice and calm to hear. Not to mention the battle music! Always, always big and gigantic. As far as my words keep going, I might be a little bit biased about him, but most of my friends also agree that Kenji Ito has always composed great music with his own unique characteristic: strange chord but BEAUTIFUL!
So, my suggestion will be this: if you like to hear somewhat pleasant, nice, and heroic gigantic 'strange' chords even if you can't read Japanese, it's 100% worth of money to buy this game. Like Chinese-sound music? Kenji Ito composed it. Like really COOL battle music (trust me, you WILL definitely like it) , and not boring at all? Kenji Ito composed it. Like funky music (sometimes)? Kenji Ito composed it. Like beautiful and calm music? Kenji Ito also composed it.

SaGa Frontier (1997)
great music!!
Although I may mostly agree for people's opinions that this game is sucks in battle-system, nonetheless allow many story combinations, the BEST thing about this game is: its music! It's irresistable. If you like to hear gigantic and cool battle music, not boring at all, and if you like to hear beautiful and calm music, with beautiful 'strange' chords combination - unique characteristic of music by Kenji Ito - then Saga Frontier is your choice!
