Just as beautiful as the novel
25 March 2000
This movie is one of my all-time favorite movies. I saw this movie about 5 times. I saw it with my friend on video tape when we were very young. Everything was beautiful - The cast, director's wonderful skills, music and the sight of a pretty garden. The girl who played Mary Lennox pulled out her best performance in this movie, Maggie Smith was as great as ever, the boy who played Collin was the most shining actor in the movie, and Martha was so kind and lovable character. Holland might be one of the most talented directors in the world, I give high points to the art in this movie and the beautiful music which I have listened to until the list of credits ended was so appealing to me. Give 10 out of 10.

Star Kid (1997)
Usual Family Movie...
5 February 2000
I watched this with my younger brother and he loved it.

We-ll, I've seen these kind of movies since 7, and I know everything what goes on family movies. Let's see, there's a kid(sort of a nerd type) who is bullied by a *bad* kid, and he meets a new friend(eg.E.T or alien). They go round'n'round the journey and at the ending, the new friend has to go home. So, the kid cries, says goodbye, hugs the friend...

I've seen this kind of movies SO many times. "Star Kid" is no exception, but the computer graphics and the special effects were great. I give this movie: 6 out of 10.

Mr. Belvedere (1985–1990)
Enjoyable show.

I saw the re-runs on TV and my whole family love it. I found out how talented Brice Beckham was. He plays Wesley, who always puts his family into trouble. My little sis fancys him. I mostly liked the looks on Mr. Belvedere's face- especially when he was caught by George while dancing in the opera music. I also liked the part that Wesley broke the TV and waving "Hallelujah!" to Mr.Belvedere to hide the smoke. The casts are great and "Mr.Belvedere" is one of the funniest shows in the 80's.

Notting Hill (1999)
10/10
Wonderful Romantic Comedy.

First, the cast made me go see the movie. Hugh Grant and Julia Roberts!! What a PERFECT couple!! The supporting actors and actresses amazed me. Spike was hilarious, and Hugh's sister was great, too. The story was like a fairy tale, but it was okay. There are some funny parts, like Horse&Hound and Spike's T-shirts. I loved hugh's performance. He was soooo great. He was hilarious in 'Mickey Blue Eyes', too. I give this movie, 10 out of 10.

Buffy the Vampire Slayer (1997–2003)
Interesting Series and wonderful cast...
23 January 2000
Buffy...is one of the best TV shows. Sarah Michelle Gellar is a cutie Buffy Summers who SLAYS the vampires. The story is interesting and funny. Some parts don't make sense, but it's cool. I became a BIG fan of ALYSON Hannigan. She's the most talented actress on TV and films. Some of you guys who are reading this would remember a confused daughter of Dan Akroyd in the famous old film , My stepmother is an Alien. Sure, she have changed. But she's still a great actress. Hope to see her more often in the movies.

Okay, let's see... I like Seth Green, too! He may not be handsome or anything, but the reason so many people like Seth is because of his **talent**. Angel and Xander is a babe, Giles is impressive and somewhat sexy... Charisma Carpenter has done a good job playing her role as "Cordelia", a snobby hottie. This show is VERY entertaining and it's better than watching 'Sabrina the teenage witch', a MAGIC SHOW.

Oh! Keep up the good work, Joss!!!

WWE Smackdown! (1999– )
A FUNNY sHoW!!!

It's a show and everyone know it. Fully-dressed creepy guys fake-wrestling? They are all fake. The dialogs are fake. Everything is fake.

We-ell, there ARE some funny parts, though. My mom cracked up when the grandmas were wrestling. My b-friend likes to watch that show. HE used to like Stephanie, I don't have a clue why.

Fun and Enjoyable.

My friends and I used to love this book so much that every month we ran to the bookstore and buy them. Two of my favorite actresses are in the movie, Rachael Leigh Cook and Larisa Oleinik. This story is about Kristy meeting her real father and Stacey lying about her age to Luca and going to N.Y. The story is really good. Especially for little girls. The whole family can watch it. I recommend this movie to Everyone. I give 7 out of 10. Austin O'Brien('My girl2','Last Action Hero') is appearing as Rachael's boyfriend, Logan Bruno.

Great, but not as great as the book.
20 January 2000
Okay, I've seen this movie at Language Arts class AFTER I read the book. I liked it, and this story is "different" from other teenage stories. Always happy-endings. But S.E. Hinton wrote this brilliant story about the downtown boyz who are always in trouble. The ending freaked me out. It was good.

In the MOVIE, it describes Mark as the main character. Probably Emilio Estevez was popular that he had to be the star. His acting is great. But let's see, Bryon in a fluffy hair? I thought Mark had that style. In the book, after Charlie dies, Bryon is upset and Mark is not. But in the movie it is VERy different. And M&M??!! He is supposed to be so sweet and innocent. The movie describes M&M as a boy who knows EVERYTHING and what's going around the world. He looked like a Senior guy instead of 13-year-old kid. The most unbelievable part is the ENDING. ANOTHER sweet happy silly ending. Mark forgives Bryon and they become friends again. Cathy still sticks up with Bryon. Gosh, give me a break! The movie was disappointing, so you should read a BOOK.

Oh, don't miss Morgan Freeman as Charlie in the movie!!

Strike! (1998)
If You're a girl, you MUST see it.
18 January 2000
This story is about the teenage girls who plays the dirty tricks on the school boys from the different school and saving the girl school in danger. I watched this movie in the theater AND with VCD and I love this movie. My boyfriend slept in the theater, though. Maybe this movie is NOT for the boys. Chris is a BIG fan of Kirsten Dunst and Gaby Hoffman, but he said he just didn't like the movie. I thought Kirsten Dunst played Verena really well. She's such a intelligent actress in Hollywood. Rachael Leigh Cook was cute in the movie playing a spoiled girl. I give 8 out of 10. If you want to watch a movie like this, rent 'Now and Then'. You'll see Gaby in 12.

I Think This Movie Was GREAT!!!
18 January 2000
I've seen this movie when I was 7 or 8, and I loved it and I still love it. Robin Williams and Dustin Hoffman did a good job playing their roles- but I thought the child-actors were eye-catching. I even had a crush on Charlie Korsmo!! I also thought Amber Scott (who played 'Maggie') was great- she's an amazing actress. I wonder why she didn't go for hollywood. Julia Roberts looked quite horrible in fairy costume. Charlie, I still think you're great.
