The Sum of All Fears (2002)
Listen to me: THIS MOVIE IS CRAP.
I already wasted enough of my precious time watching this, so I'll keep it short: STUPID STUPID STUPID. I can't find anything positive about this movie. Each and every scene was ridiculous and unbelievable. The scary thing about this movie isn't its plot. It's scary that so many people actually like that movie. Oh come on people. Activate your brain !
The rating (100 % subjective and straight from the heart):
1 out of 10. (sucks...)
A Beautiful Mind (2001)
So this one won the Oscar ?
Well. Here we have a very superficial movie about another mentally ill person. Yeah. The Academy Members just love stuff like that. With a glimpse of meaning, but not too thought-provoking. It's a biography that changes the facts, so Nash's story fits into the standard Hollywood scheme. That's the worst thing a biography can do. Lie.
Ron Howard didn't do a bad directing job. It was just lacking in ideas. And the ending ! It was so terrible. Bah. I got sick. There are a lot of worse movies out there so I wanna be fair and give it 5 out of 10 (especially for the performances by Russel Crowe and Jennifer Conelly). Still. The more awards this movie gains, the more I dislike it.
The Heist (2000)
Never thought a 90 minutes film could be that boring
This must be one of the worst movies I've ever seen. The plot was so tiny, that writer/director Kurt Voss had to fill the time with "Pulp Fiction"-like meaningless dialog. Unfortunately he is not Quentin Tarantino. So his dialogs are just plain boring, not funny. The acting is bäh, the characters are flat and unbelievable, but the main problem is: Nothing ever happens. They are just talking and talking and talking and bla bla bla. Don't waste your time on this one. Instead watch Pulp Fiction once again. Even if you've already seen it a thousand times.
