The Rage: Carrie 2 (1999)

Rachel could have never been born!!!!

Sorry to be a nitpicker but I think that Rachel should have never been born. Lets go through the facts and you'll see:

The Rage took place 20 years after Carrie Carrie and Rachel have the same father- Ralph White

WRONG!!! According to the Stephen King book "Carrie", Ralph White died in 1963 after Carrie was born so Rachel's father could not have been him

Other than that the film was good, better than the first one anyway.

House on Haunted Hill (1999)

Bit overated

I watched it last night expected to be more scared than the time I watched Freddy Krueger at the age of seven. It made me jump a few times but I didnt get nightmnares. The FX were really good (not the best, but still good).

Overall, on the h_tails scale of 1 to 10 1 being "DONT BOTHER!", 10 being "GOTTA BUY IT" and 5 being "UNSURE" Id give it a steady 8.

Dinosaur (2000)

Not bad

I saw it just last night and i must admit Disney have outdone themselves again. The visual effects were so good I really thought that the whole scenery was real. But wasnt the story kind of short? And is it me or did the film resemble "The Land Before Time"? (you know, the fact that the lead dinosaur was an orphan and the fact that different breeds of animal went off to find the green land on their own. Oh and the tyrannous (cant spell it) rex was killed at the end.) I really expected a bit more acrion, with it being a PG and all. It just ended too quickly for me.

Otherwise I thought it was really good. Id give it 8 out of 10.

The Haunting (1999)

Better than I thought

When I first heard of it, I wasnt interested in it. But I saw it about 6 days ago and I loved it!!! The effects and the acting were great. Not many movies scare me but this one really got my heart pumping!!!!! The graphics made it even more effective and after seeing it, I wanted to see it again!!! Liam Neeson has outdone himself again with his acting and well, this is going to be in my top ten greatest movies!!!

Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace (1999)

Well worth the wait

Ive been asking myself ever since I saw the Star Wars trilogy, why does it start with 4 and not 1? That started 13 years ago when I was 4. Well, Im glad they did it that way because Episode 1 was absolutely fabulous!!! The effects were brilliants, the plot was in a brill Star Wars and the actors really did well. The Jedi moves were even better than in the first trilogy. I cant wait til ep. 2 and 3!!!

I went to see it about 3 days before Xmas and lets just say it, it was a great Xmas trip!!!! Better than Fawlty Towers any day!!!!When I heard the name Mr. Twat, I killed myself laughing!! With him getting stuck in the oven with that underwear was brill but oh the chef was hilraious!! Spud Gun at his best!!! But I look around and everyone seems to hate it!!! Well youre not true Bottom fans!!! Im getting it when it comes onto video, thats for sure!!!!
