Horrible Acting ruins original concept.

There are only 5 or 6 characters in this movie (depending on if you count one who dies early and another who is a bit...different), and most of them are poorly acted. I have to admit that the movie is a nice original idea, but the acting is poor. Plus, they make a mathematical error when reasoning out some of the important aspect of their prison.

In rapt surprise at rating

How in the world can you guys not like this film. I consider this film one of my top 10, mostly because the characterization of Billy Zane's character may be the best in any movie ever. This movies has almost everything you want: Original Awesome Characterization (especially with Zane's Character) Sufficiently well written and acted

Maybe this movie isn't what the mainstream wants, but it is still an excellent flick.

Not your ordinary spoonfed experience

If you enjoy shallow movies with little complexity and less originality, stay away from Lost Highway. If you are ready for a mind-bending hellride testing your cerebral prowess, watch it soon. This is quite possibly Lynch's best film.
