Legally Blonde (2001)
The summers best movie!!!
When I saw the preview for this movie, i thought it would be a good movie. I was wrong...it was excellent!!! And excellent is the only way I can describe it. Everyone did an excellent job on acting it out (especially Reese...my fav.) and the movie was well written. They say blondes do have more fun and this movie shows that they really do. It's funny and sort of sad because the guy dumps Reese(Elle). Reese is one of my fav actresses and she proves how good she is in this show. If you loved Reese in Cruel Intentions, your gonna love her acting more in Legally Blonde. I recommend this movie to everyone because it's great!!
Election (1999)
Time to cast your vote!
I loved this movie and if i had to vote for the ranking of this movie, i would elect a 10. This movie is hilarious. Reese is the most adorable snotty girl i know. In this movie she plays the part of Tracy Flick...a straight A student who is running for school president. Mr. McKalister doesnt want Tracy to win because his best friend(also a teacher) got fired for having an affair with a student...the student happening to be Tracy. He does all he can to have her loose, but will he suceed? Will Tracy lose the election? You'll just have to watch to find out what happens in this funny twisted comedy film.
Pleasantville (1998)
Absolutley wonderful
Two teenagers go into their tv screen and into the lives of the characters in a black-and-white tv show in the '50s. Everyone acts perfectly and the teens aren't used to that. Everyone's smiling, no one ever fights, people never miss a hoop when playing basketball. These two teens try their hardest to bring color to the boring black-and-white show and go home. But on their way they change themselves. Tobey is great in this movie and Reese rocks the house as always. I recommend this movie to people everywhere because its wonderful.
How the Grinch Stole Christmas (2000)
The-the-the THE GRINCH was Awesome- Right-o
I went to see this movie because... 1. Jim Carrey was in it and 2. I wanted to laugh my head out. And that is exactly what happened. I was cracking up during this whole movie. But there were some sad parts to it too. It turned out that the grinch dude wasn't so bad after all. He actually had a heart. If you want to laugh your brains out, I reccomend this movie. Even if you don't think this sounds like a good movie, you should still watch it. I mean Jim Carrey is in it. Jim Carrey= laughs, laughs= funny movie. So, if you like funny movies watch the-the-the The Grinch. If you don't think this movie is good, then I have only one thing to say... You're wrong-o. Jim Carrey rocks and so does all his movies. This is a got-to-see movie.
Homegrown (1998)
It Was O.K.
This movie was good. I can't say it was one of the best, but it still was good. The only reason that I watched it was because of Ryan Phillippe. He is soo hot! (Don't get mad Reese). But I think that it was sort of funny- not a laugh your head out kinda thing, but still O.K.
Bring It On (2000)
Soo Funny!!!
I just watched this movie yesterday at the movies. This movie is a really good movie. It is soo funny. One of my favorite actresses- Eliza Dushku. It all starts when Missy(Dushku) comes to town and joins the cheerleading squad called Toros. When Missy takes Torrence (Dunst) another cheerleading squad in L.A., she realizes the horrible truth. Darcy, the former leader of the squad had always stole their moves. All the years that they had won, it had been because they cheated. Torrence wants to actually win this time without cheating. She also falls in love with Cliff, Missy's brother. Torrence even brakes up with her boyfriend- who doesn't believe in her and cheats on her. But before she brakes up, Cliff sees her kissing him. What will happen? Will Cliff and Dunst get to go out? Will they win for cheerleading? Find out in this funny movie. It teaches you that cheating is bad and that you don't always have to be perfect, as long as you're good. I think you should see this movie. It's really good.
Final Destination (2000)
The worst $8 bucks of my LIFE!!!
Back sometime in the middle of March when I first saw this movie, I hated. Tell me about BORING! I went to the movies to see this movie because everyone said that it was good. It was when I actually watched it that I knew that people were WRONG! I like the web site to this movie. I went there to see if it would give me a little preview so I could decide if it was good or bad. The web site gave me the chills. It has scarey music and when you give some info about yourself, it tells you when you will die. I know that they were lying but it gave me the chills anyway. I thought that this movie would be so scarey- and boy was I wrong! I mean, if you are a Devon Sawa fan, you probably have seen it. But to those who haven't... Please stay away from this movie! It's is for your own good. When I go to the movies, I want to go to have fun and enjoy myself. But this movie doesn't let you do that. I didn't get spooked one bit while watching this movie! I did the usual movie stuff... I got the pop corn and soda- And I got ready to get scared!!! But unfortunatly, that didn't happen with this movie. Over all, I'd give this movie a 3 out of 10. And that's only because I don't want to be rude. I mean, those stars worked hard to do a good job in their parts. So I give them credit for that. But other than that, it's a big 0 baby!
Never Been Kissed (1999)
Wonderful!!!
This movie is sooo good! It tells the story of Josie Geller, (Drew Barrymore), a 25 year old journalist who has to go back to high school, to come up with a story. If she doesn't, she and her boss will both get fired. Her brother Sam reminds her that she was a geek in high school and she must become popular to get herself a story. So he also goes in disguise and makes her become popular. While trying to find a story, she falls in love with the teacher. But when they find out that it was all a scheme, she doesn't know if he'll forgive her. So she writes all the things that happened in the newspaper, and asks him to give her a kiss in front of all those people who watch them. Will the teacher forgive her and come to kiss her? Watch to find out. This movie is funny, sad, and romantic. I cried at the end and at the part where her prom date doesn't take her to the prom, but instead throws eggs at her. I watched this movie because I'm a Drew Barrymore fan, but I realized that it was good. Drew Barrymore is usually in love movies like this one and she's good at playing her part too. I think that you should see this movie. I watched it a year ago, but I still like it. Rating:10
Drive Me Crazy (1999)
This great movie will drive you crazy
This movie was great! I just loved it. I mean, the characters Melissa Joan Heart and Adrian Grenier were fantastic. This movie is about two next-door neighbors who have stopped being friends since jr. high. Nicole wants a date with the star basketball player for the prom. But when he asks someone else, she tries to find someone else to go with. Chase gets dumped by his girlfriend and he also needs someone. Nicole asks Chase because she wants to make the guy she likes jealous. Chase has the same thing on mind about his ex. Nicole changes the way Chase dresses and makes him popular. They both get together but realize that they really loved each other all along. I can't tell you the whole story here, because I'll be spoiling it all. But I would just like to say again that this movie is great. It's romantic, funny, and sweet at the same time. It's a great movie- I love it. I'm sure that you will too. Rating:10
Paulie (1998)
Paulie wants a cracker!
I absolutely LOVED this movie! It was SO good! This movie is told by the parrot, Paulie's point of view. Paulie is given to the little girl Marie, as a present. Paulie helps Marie learn to talk and they become best friends. But when Paulie tells Marie to fly, she falls and the bird is sent away. That's when the adventure begins. Paulie goes through so much to find his way back to Marie. This movie is so sweet, funny, touching, sad, and more. When I first watched this movie, it made me cry. The birds courage and urge to go find his Marie for all that time, was so touching. I must say that the ending is so sweet and sad, but you'll have to watch it to find out how it goes. At the end, the janitor tries to help him, after hearing his story. Will he find his long lost Marie or not? Find out when you watch this sweet, heart warming movie. It'll touch your heart. Rating:10
The Wedding Singer (1998)
"Fantastic" is the word that describes it!!!
This was one of the best movies I have ever seen. When Robbie Hart's (Adam Sandler) fiance doesn't show up at his wedding, everyone thinks he went crazy. He gets fired from his job as a wedding singer. He doesn't want to see people happy because he is not happy and he's broken hearted. When he meets the waitress Julia Sullivan, (Drew Barrymore), he likes her right away. They both become friends and Julia asks him for help on her wedding with Glenn. At first he refuses, but then he decides to help her. Glenn greedily makes Julia arrange the whole wedding. I don't want to spoil it too much. I will tell you that the ending is so sweet. Robbie and Julia both find the perfect someone to grow old with. This movie is really funny and romantic. I really loved it so much that I bought the video. I definitely urge you to watch this movie. It is so sweet! Especially if you are a person who likes love and comedy movies. This is the movie for you. So, if you haven't seen it yet, I think that you should because this is the sweetest movie. It also has Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore, one my favorite actors and actresses. So if you are a fan of these stars, you probably have seen this movie before. But if you haven't, I think that you really should watch this movie- it's great! Rating: 100 out of 10
Cruel Intentions (1999)
the best movie- you gotta see it- to believe it
This movie was the one of the best movies. Not only was the movie great, but so were the cast who played in it. Ryan Phillippe plays the part of Sebastian and Sarah Michelle Gellar as his step sister- Kathryn. When they read about the virgin Annette, (Reese Witherspoon), and that she is saving herself, they are determined to seduce her. If Sebastian wins he gets to get Kathryn (whom he lusts for), if he loses, Kathryn gets his car. Will Sebastian be able to seduce the unseductable Annette? You'll have to watch and see what will happen in this cruel, sexy, dramatic, romantic, seductive, sad, AND sweet movie. I would compare this movie to, "She's all That", because Annette is the bet of Kathryn and Sebastian. Anyway, this movie was great- it's a got to see movie- I give it 100 out of 10. I've watched it more than 13 times. Yet it seems to get better more and more each time. Even if you don't think this movie sounds good, you should see it anyway- it has some of the greatest stars in it and they all do a fabulous job in playing their part.
