Elvis by the Presleys (2005 TV Movie)

Brought me back in time

I always known how Elvis was such a generous person, nothing new there, but it was nice to see it again and to show the public how kind he really was. Had his trails and tribulations just like every one of us. But was always striving to make people happy.

A couple of things really tug at my heart string. When Lisa and Priscilla still got choked up just to talk about the day he passed away, reached down in me how it is so hard to talk about my mother who passed away 7 years ago. Its like you are sharing that exact same feeling with them.

And the song "If I can dream" was so heart felt. Just can't understand why more people don't sing it. Very very touching film. Really enjoyed seeing how the mother and daughter put that era in their own words.

The worst movie of the Year

What were they thinking when they wrote about this President. And what were they thinking when they got James Brolin to do the acting. The acting was so terrible that I thought this was a joke. When I realized they were serious, it just made me sad than mad.

They made Ronald Regan like a blundering idot, and his wife like a Hillary Clinton, He was one of the greatest presidents of our time and never got the credit he deserved. I just hope all the people involved in this garbage can sleep at night. Maybe next time stepford Brolin will listen more to his own instincts than someone else before he takes on a job like this.

The Missing (I) (2003)

Excellent Acting

The acting was very good. The scenery was so real looking that it made you feel you were back there in that time. A little far fetch, but when a movie makes me feel all their aches and pains, than I say job well done. Walked out feeling depress, how mankind always treated one another.

Saving Jessica Lynch (2003 TV Movie)

Riveting!

This movie held my attention from the beginning to the end. To see all these brave soldiers and to see what they go through, just tears at my heart. I liked how they touched on different sides of this war. I never took what our soldiers did for granted but I couldn't believe how this movie made me feel, I felt like I was right there with them. Hats off to the director, actors etc. Thank You Jessica Lynch and to all the other Hundred of Thousands of Soldiers that are out there protecting me and my family. They are all hero's in my eyes.

Mystic River (2003)

Mumble Mumble Mumble

Pretty good movie. Even though I do not care for Sean Penn and Tim Robbins. But why was there so much mumbling in the picture. There were times we all looked at each other and said "What the heck did he just say? Weird ending. Could of explained why decisions were made the way they were.

Susan Sarandon was horrible

Susan Sarandon is a horrible actress. This movie had a cute concept but Sarandon ruined this movie. She is too old to play this back to the teenage part. She can not act at all. Of all the actresses in the world, why would they pick Sarandon. How do I get my money and my time back?

Gangs of New York (2002)

Leonardo DiCaprio was Excellent

In this movie you can see a more mature Leonardo DiCaprio. He did such a magnificent job. The movie was very good but I gave it an 8, do to the disturbing violent scenes that never seem to end. But it was interesting to see how the gangs got started in that period.

Inside the Osmonds (2001 TV Movie)

A strong Family

Say what you want about the Osmonds, this is a very strong, loving, honorable family. I enjoyed this program very much. There is not a lot of families that could withstand the public scrutiny they had to go through. Even with some of the problems they had, they all stuck together. They should be very proud of themselves.

Eddie Murphy had to ruin this movie with his warp ideas about the men's anatomy. I mean enough is enough already. Get a life. The concept of Eddie Murphy playing all these characters was really great, but the storyline was so stupid you just have to know not to run to see anymore Eddie Murphy's movie.

These Old Broads (2001 TV Movie)

Fair.

The four divas all looked great. Would of liked to of seen more of Elizabeth Taylor. When Debbie and Elizabeth was talking to each other about the past, it was hilarious! Eddie Fisher got his just dues. Some of the storyline was a little corny. But it was great to see all of them again.

Vertical Limit (2000)

Full of Action!

It got my attention from beginning to end, which is very hard to do. You have to see it in the theater to get the full effects. Scenery and photography were awesome. A very exciting movie. All of the actors did a very good job. They will go a long way. I will be watching for this director and actors for future movies.

How to Marry a Billionaire: A Christmas Tale (2000 TV Movie)

Started off good and went nowhere!

Movie fizzled out. By 3/4 through it, waiting for the end to come. Completely lost my interest. For a 8:00pm viewing, had things that were inappropriate for that time slot. Acting was good on a whole but some actresses were very boring.

Dr. T & the Women (2000)

Made all women look pathetic! Had to be written by a Man.

Should of walked out 1/4 of the way through it. Kept thinking, with all these big name stars, might get better. Wrong! Should of went with my first thought. Made all women look like they have no common sense unless a man comes to their rescue.
