On Martin Luther King Jr.
May his message live on into the future and may his spirit live on into eternity.
No matter the color of our skin, no matter our religious beliefs or political ideals, no matter our sexual leanings, we all are human, and such as it is, we are all brothers and sisters. We all live in the human condition. We all have aspirations...
We all have Dreams.
If you pray hard enough, you can make water run uphill. How hard? Why, hard enough to make water run uphill, of course! [Robert A. Heinlein, Expanded Universe]
Science and Science Fiction fan.
I'm a brunette, not a blond...
No... wait a minute, that's not true,
Damn...
I like Redheads..., sometimes they scare me. [hairrise]

"We look forward to hearing your vision, so we can more better do our job. That's what I'm telling you." George W. Bush, Gulfport, Miss., Sept. 20, 2005

I'm either a Cancer or a Gemini depending on who you ask.
My earliest memory is the assassination of JFK. I also remember watching Jack Ruby shooting Lee Harvey Oswald on TV, over and over again. It kind of scared my parents.[eyes] I watched all of the space shots from 1964 until the first space shuttle launch in 1980, and remember watching the first episode of Star Trek.
At the age of five I was shot in the eye with a homemade arrow by my best friend at the time. When someone says "It's better than a sharp stick in the eye", I can honestly say from experience that anything is better than that.[tongue]
Lucy, I'm not dead.

Escape from Mars (1999)
One of the best "Made For TV" SF movies in recent memory
The premise is not "fresh" but the science part is very well done. Asimov and Heinlein would both stand up in their graves and applaud Bova on the other hand, might wonder why he wasn't credited.
By far the best "Mars" movie of the times.
The Twilight Zone (2002)
Improvements needed
While UPN is trying to be true to the original series, it seems that the scriptwriting needs some improvement. The first episode was predictable and had the feel of an R. L. Stien Goosebumps. The second was nothing but a warmed-over remake of "Death Takes a Holiday" that could have been titled "Death Takes a Day Off". I have hopes that this will prove to be a worthy addition to the "Twilight Zone" franchise, but I'm not holding my breath.
