Mr. & Mrs. Smith (2024)
We were looking forward to this.......but yikes
Slow, no chemistry, too much rambling, long moments of silence with no substance.
We had no delusions that it would be anything like the movie.
It has very little spy action and no good plots.
There is no closure on any of the episodes for the actual assignments.
We were really looking forward to this series and are extremely disappointed!
The constant small talk / chattering is irritating and boring.
Too many holes in the plots.
When typing on phone and tablets you can't see what they are saying.
We turned on Closed caption but it doesn't show us what was typed.
Each episode that we watched could or should have been cut in half and we wouldn't have missed anything.
Christmas on Windmill Way (2023)
No Chemistry!
Why always old flame story line?
The actual story line was good. Except like I noted above the part about "the old flame" that's getting really old!
Loved seeing Chad Michael Murray, and hope to see him in future GAC Movies.
There was absolutely no Chemistry between him and Christa Taylor Brown.
Maybe it was the characters they played, maybe not. It was hard to root for them.
I did watch the entire movie, but kept hoping or wishing I would eventually see chemistry between the two.
They seemed more like brother and sister or friends then they did a couple who have feeling and love for each other.
Fall Into Winter (2023)
So Happy Lori Loughlin is Back!
I was thrilled when I saw that Lori Loughllin and James Tupper were staring in a GAC movie together..
The "Fall Into Winter" story line was a great idea! I like that there are now more stories where the hero/heroine are not always in their 20's or early 30's and they are played
by actors/actresses that we have watched for years.
Although, I don't like that "Kerry" was so stiff and grumpy (For lack of a better word) during the majority of the movie.
One thing is for certain. I will watch Lori Loughlin movies and am hoping to see her as a regular on GAC.
I subscribed to FrndlyTV just for GAC but we are enjoying many of the other stations FrndlyTV offers.
The Morning Show (2019)
Disappointing Season 2!
This show went from a good Season 1 to a horrible Season 2.
Every episode of Season 2 is nothing but a "everyone scream, cry, complain and act like a two year old".
In Season 2, NONE of the characters have an ounce of professionalism, class or ethics.
Characters are all unlikeable in Season 2.
We are tired of the wokeness and political bias.
We are tired of Covid stories, we are looking for an escape.
As others have said, I wish we could separate the reviews by Season on IMDB.
NCIS: Los Angeles: Perception (2022)
Tired of the Wokeness!
As usual one sided, why is there NEVER an episode showing discrimination against people who aren't of color, men, or any other race or religion. The
"woke" writers make it seems like only people of color and certain heritages are discriminated against.
NCIS: Naval Criminal Investigative Service: Face the Strange (2021)
Gary Cole and Jessica Knight
Gary Cole is an excellent choice as the new team leader.
We weren't optimistic about who might be brought on. Our family and friends who watch NCIS are equally pleased.
Our son just texted us "Omg I love Gary Cole as the new Gibbs and the new female agent, they have managed to revive the show". We agree 100%.
I love Jessica Knight from my Hallmark movies, she is also a fantastic addition to the cast!
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
NCIS: Los Angeles: Russia, Russia, Russia (2021)
Fantastic
Finally another great episode. What a difference a week makes!
I immediately logged back on to IMDB to post this review say how pleasantly surprised I was that Russia Russia Russia was so good compared to last weeks episode.
Now I'm once again looking forward to binging on more episodes.
NCIS: Los Angeles: The Patton Project (2018)
Seriously?
Why always "right wing" bad. Why does it always have to be "right extremists".
How about showing how the left burn down cities, loot, disrespect law enforcement, etc.....
Call it what it's is, stop calling their violence protests... They are violent, vile, disrespectful, nasty mobs of law breaking, road blocking "left wing radicals" who destroy cars, homes, businesses, yet you never show any of it in your stories.
Ted Lasso (2020)
Unexpected delight!
My family and friends kept telling me to watch Ted Lasso. I kept putting it off saying that it's "not my cup of tea". Wow, I was wrong. It took me a couple episodes to get completely hooked, but I'm glad I kept watching. Ted Lasso is a fantastic, feel good, show that is a welcome change from all the hate, burning of our cities, killings, thefts, crime, cancel culture etc... happening these days. Im looking forward to season 2.
Magnum P.I. (2018)
Horrible
It is absolutely horrible. From the writing, bad actors and story lines. Not just because it's nothing like the original.
When I came here to write the review I was not surprised to see all the 1 star reviews. We agree with all the bad reviews. Ugh...... it's so hard to find anything worth watching these days.
The Rookie (2018)
From good to bad
Another show down the drain because of their hateful, intolerant, vile political agenda.
The Good Fight (2017)
Disappointed
We were looking forward to watching this show and was a big fan of The Good Wife. It started off ok, but each season it went rapidly downhill. Season 3 was horrible, we couldn't get through it.
Don't waist your time.
Christmas Coach (2019)
No chemistry
Lauren's character is immature, unprofessional and annoying. There is absolutely no chemistry between her and James. The story line itself was a wonderful idea, but it's hard to get past the lack of maturity and how irritating they made Lauren's character. Enthusiasm for her job and love of Christmas is great. She is just too unlikable to enjoy the good movie.
A Christmas Love Story (2019)
Great Movie, fantastic unexpected Story line!
Kristen Chenoweth, Scott Wolf and the entire cast were a perfect match for this movie. I loved the story line and the characters. I will look forward to watching this every year!
The Most Wonderful Time of the Year (2008)
I look forWarded to watching this every year!
I always enjoy "The most Wonderful Time of the Year" it's hard to believe it's over 10 years old!
Whiskey Cavalier (2019)
Love it!
Great show it has comedy, intrigue, action and fun! A great escape from reality, very enjoyable we love the FBI/CIA working together premise. They get the job done, great fight scenes. They genuinely seem to have fun!
Love at Sea (2018)
No On sscreen Chemistry!
I DVR and look forward to all the Hallmark Movies. Even tho I thought the last Hallmark Movie this married couple did together was bad, I was hoping for better this time! Unfortunately still no on screen Chemistry even though they are married in real life, bad acting that made an okay script even worse! Stick with the usual Hallmark actors!
Big Little Lies (2017)
Binged with Hubby!
Our daughter and friends recommended Big Little Lies! We binged watched in 2 days! The perfect families in the perfect town with the perfect life isn't so perfect after All! Looking forward to Season 2!
A Star for Christmas (2012)
Disappointed
Seemed like a good idea and plot!. I was looking forward to another great Christmas Romance. I Love watching all the ION as well as competing networks Christmas movies, unfortunately there is Zero chemistry between Cassy and Alex. The actor who played Alex is perfect for the part but the actress who played Cassie, in my opinion, was A poor choice. The actress who played Trish (Cassie's friend) would have been a better choice for the role of Cassie. It was kinda like watching a train wreak and unbelievable that Alex would be attracted to Cassie. A Christmas Srar is not one I will be recommending to family or friends. Nor will it be on my yearly "must watch list".
Scandal (2012)
Liked it......BUT
Like the show BUT.... As another reviewer said "If they could stuff any more liberally-minded ideological topics and conservative stereotypes in a show, this would be it." How about adding another writer with opposing political views so the show would have more balance? The non stop liberal wacko crap takes away from what could be a great show! We are too busy being upset by the one-sided bashing to enjoy the show fully. Mix it up and balance it out bit. We couldn't believe how many people we've talked to feel the same as we did (both liberal and conservative). That said, I love Olivia and the other "gladiators in suits". The chemistry between Olivia and the President is undeniable. We love the premise of the show and how "Liv" "fixes" things to advert major crisis. Olivia follows her gut and has a strict moral code expect for in her personal life. It makes for a great show. We are going to reserve our rating until we watch a few more, hopefully the writing will not always be so one sided in EVERY episode. We would actually give it a 10 if not for that, but for now we give it a 5.
Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol (2011)
Pleasantly Surprised, we thoroughly enjoyed!
We throughly enjoyed Mission Impossible - Ghost Protocol. POSSIBLE SPOILER: We love to try to determine who the bad guy/girl is throughout the shows and movies we watch. We were actually all wrong, because for once, none of the team members were bad. We were also pleasantly surprised at the lighter moments that made us laugh. The action scenes and special effects were thrilling. We loved the stunts! The Team, which at first glance I thought was going to be an uninteresting group, was amazingly exciting, fun, entertaining and mesmerizing to watch. We are definitely looking forward and hoping there will be a Mission Impossible 5, sooner rather than later!
Revenge (2011)
We Love Revenge!
We Love Revenge, our family looks forward to it! We hope it lasts more than a season.
It would be an added bonus if Emily and Nolan could have a inadvertent side business to help others, (who wouldn't actually know it's Emily and Nolan helping them) to seek Revenge. Wouldn't it be great! That way even when/if Emily has most everyone crossed off her list, she'll still be at it :).
Let's hope Emily, Nolan and Jack don't end up being psychos. That would spoil it for us.
We love that those she seeks Revenge on, are publicly humiliated - It serves them right!
