Rescue Special Ops (2009–2011)

High energy great series

I live in USA so I had never seen this series. I am suffering from a. Chronic illness so unfortunately TV is my only vice since I'm pretty much house bound now. Anyway I've watched all USA shows and fell in love with British but have stumbled upon some great Aussie or New Zealand shows that most Americans don't know. This is one of those! Unfortunately I really had to search to even find it season 1 is on Prime but season 2,3 are not on any streaming service when doing a search on Roku I finally kept at it and found season 2,3 available on you tube the quality of picture isn't as good but better than no one else picking up streaming rights. It's a great show another great one is Rush, I found it streaming free on Tubi.

Rush (2008–2011)

Great high action TV

I love this show! I found it streaming and was stunned it got cancelled. It was a great high action episodic series and the shows theme song was perfect it has been playing in my head constantly..lol. I wish there were more shows like this one. I binged the whole series and was quit disappointed in the final episode though. It was a let down. In fact it was the worst episode over the entire series. I highly recommend watching this show. It keeps you on the edge of your seat making you want to binge on this series til the very end.

Ms Fisher's Modern Murder Mysteries (2019–2021)

Fun, easy TV

I really love this show. It's set in the 60's and the wardrobes are spot on for each character. I just adore Pheregrine's outfits. Her Aunts car and house are perfect. This show makes me want to watch Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries. I usually like more intense or realistic shows but this one is great fun to watch.

Hinterland (2013–2016)

Dark, gloomy yet keeps you glued to watching it!

I am from the USA but because of illness am homebound for long periods. I have watched just about all genres, locations and finally started this one. The name put me off wanting to watch.....so finally desperate for a new series I started streaming this one....wow I love it! I have great respect for BBC crime/procedural/ dramas but this one is special yes dark gloomy but suspenseful with wonderful cinematography of Wales. The use of both Welsh and English is a great touch. I have watched almost all the English dramas and being from USA enjoy the different scenery as well as the many accents from regions. I also appreciate the format BBC uses of a movie length versus standard 43 minutes for US series. This gives time to build suspense and tying old cases and history with the "crime" under investigation. I am so glad they released it on Netflix....it definitely ranks high on my list of wonderful series. I have binged this show and became immersed into their world.

The Split (2018–2022)

Very good new twist on drama

I love Nicola in this series. This is very well written with evolving characters.. it is emotional and raw at times. I love this series it's fresh and new. I really hope new season is renewed!

Keeping Faith (2017–2021)

Good not to intense but worth time

I really hope someone picks this up. It just dropped in US markets recently it gets better and better as they build the characters. I get so upset I watch a great show and networks never give it a chance. I watch a lot of TV since illness and love finding new shows but get irate do when they get pulled. This one is very good. Chris Noth plays a good leader and love how they have built each characters backgrounds. It gets better each episode.
