Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV (2016)
"Just put on the ring"
Um yeah. You know a movie has issues with it's story line when you are narrating what you think they should do repeatedly in frustration for the whole second half.
I think I said "Just put on the ring. Put it on!" About 10 times. The princess continued to portray a person who mentioned how she would give anything, even her life, she would never stop trying. Although, when it was all up to her..
All she had to do was put on the ring to give her the power to stop the empire invading. She didn't. She let someone else fight that battle and die for her and even until the end, she was still holding it. She never thought to protect herself or anyone else.
Amazing animation, frustrating story. I finished it thinking. Why did I waste near 2 hrs on this. I those hours back. Now I'm mad and I'm literally sitting here thinking about all the gaps left open and unfinished plot holes at the end of a 'completed' movie.
Bah! Pitiful ending!
Nice try guys, better luck next time.

Give this a shot! It's refreshing to watch!
I absolutely loved this! Laughed so hard I cried. I can't say how much I didn't know I needed to watch this anime and am dying for a second season. The humour is mixed in with dark references that made my heart delight.
It's something many gamers can relate to (being left out, being socially awkward, having gaming or anime references only a certain few know, not picking up social queues.) it was a delight.
Especially how the hero wasn't exactly the shining light you usually get in anime's (handsome, amazing at combat, good with the ladies, good with his words.)
Uncle was just quite loveable and he's worth getting to know by watching it. Give him a shot and watch this so I can get my season 2 will you :)

Love, acceptance and humour.
I thoroughly enjoyed this film. I've read a bunch of reviews and feel like all of the wonderful things I wanted to say about it have already been said.
So I'll just say, it was thought provoking and something that inspired a mixture of emotions within me. Throughout the film I felt joy, sadness and even at times pain. I connected and related to both individuals in one way or another.
The tools appeared to have a focus on acceptance and hope. These were beautiful teachings. The relationship between the two men touched my heart and I'm truly glad I was recommended to watch this and found the time. It has played through my mind since watching and I simply feel warmth when it shows up in my thoughts.
If you find spare time in your day, I suggest this film.

~ Enjoyed this movie, people are too picky
I was reading the other reviews and I'm honestly shocked! I laughed most of the way through this. It was sweet, light and good listening. I normally don't like musical movies as they can be so over done, but this was easy listening, beautiful voices and a new take on the songs.
The plot line was altered and worth a remake. I liked the fact we are seeing something different made which draws attention to the way things were in history, where women didn't have their own voice. While also drawing attention to historically how duty was more important than happiness.
I loved the fact that the step mother and daughters weren't evil. They were just trying to do what they thought was right. The evil step mother has been so overdone. It was such a nice refreshing take, to see reason behind the actions.
It's not a masterpiece, but it's worth watching while spacing out of real life for awhile.
Highly suggest people ignore the reviews and make up their own minds. If you like pop music, chick flicks/ teen movies and/ or light comedy, you'll probably enjoy this.
