The Tragedy of Macbeth (2021)
Diversity.
I really wanted to like this i was a bit skeptic when i found out danzel was playing Macbeth but i got hyped by the trailers. The cinematography is great but i have seen high school kids do better Shakespeare than danzel. I feel like they did this to please black audience and raise awareness about diversity or whatever but this was simply sad. This is no acting i could do better by reading the text and making facial expressions in a camera. Also 'thy mettle shall compose nothing but males males' not enough pressure from humanists and feminists that you decided to keep that bit ? Racism is not a bigger problem than sexism. Sexism affects all races.
Succession: What It Takes (2021)
Talked about burining korans
Hey i fully in conscience believe in demystification what could be grander than a grand demystification event right. This is surreal politics. Childern that know a Language.
Avatar: The Last Airbender (2005)
Written for kids by writers of 21st century.
The princess is 16 and now of marrying age. Yes the gender of commanders in councils and foot soldiers in armies are all male kids notice these things nowadays I didn't 13 years ago when i use to watch it all the time. This kind of baised theme encourages one half of the population and discourages others why aren't there more female benders? Why do the 'men' of the water tribe go to fighting and whilst leaving tell their 'sons' how to be 'men' i.e by protecting their sisters. Nothing is perfect and i make my peace with that but don't make something which it isn't by exaggeration even now this thought came to me when my kid sister asked why didn't the girls go to fight the fire guys.
'in our tribe it is forbidden for women to learn waterbending'
There be some such who aren't disgusted by this and i stay away from those such.
Zack Snyder's Justice League (2021)
I wanna know.
I am not a DC Marvel fan but i have watched all the avenger films and a few solos. I tried this cuz of the reviews.
I wanna know why do alot of people fall for those unrealistic, dumb bad acted action scenes.. like in this movie the one in the bank with wonder woman what the F was that? I dont feel such cringe watching children shows than i did watching that scene. They have the technology to make things look real but they still won't it for whatever reason i think these overrated directed are just that 'overrated' and not good at all. Over hyped things always turn out bad.
'i don't believe it'
'believe it'
Fu'k me if its always gonna be like this
Phantom Thread (2017)
There is a quiet death in this house
A proper movie. I look for realism in cinema and this movie gave it me. Beautifully crafted and well there's daniel, just the vibe is enough to make it addictive.
Boardwalk Empire (2010)
Peaky blinders?
If you have a more realistic show why go for the more dramatic one?. A thousand times better than what teens call television today.
Vikings: Valhalla Can Wait (2020)
Bull
This could be the most pointless episode of anything i ever saw
Vikings: The Ice Maiden (2020)
Pointless b/s
Whole episode on a goddamn funeral ffs. The realism of vikings is slowly turning into fantasy
