I was on An airplane the first time I saw this movie ..watching it on that small screen I literally forgot I was on a plane when I saw this movie..THAT HOW INCREDIBLY GOOD IT WAS. ALL THE ACTORS DID A GREAT JOB IN THIS MOVIE.

Not a good movie and it did play in theaters I was there!! And glenn lovell the movie reviewer for the san jose mercury news at the time gave a very innocent very inaccurate review making it seem it was ok to take small children to see it...my daughter was scared we got up and demanded our money back..I and many other parents sent letters to the mercury news mine was one of many published ,, it was a big deal at the time.

this is my first ever review on IMDb....this was so bad...the woman that played baby...she was so short in the waist that the clothes were bad because they HIGHLIGHTED that...she can't dance....Baby needed to be played by someone who had a little dancing ability.
don't like the ending...she seemed sad and she ended up was just so mundane.....
they hired an actress( who played baby) who can't dance at all and a dancer (who played Johnnie) who can't act...who else tried out for this???
