The Mentalist: Blinking Red Light (2011) Season 4, Episode 7

One of the best episodes for sure

Absolutely brilliant writing, great television right here. I would even dare to say best episode of mentalist so far. It got me hooked to the screen from the start.

Aside from writing, acting was on point as well. The actor who played the serial killer was just simply brilliant. Jane was great as usual too! Every scene they were together was so chilling, it is hard to describe with words really. Not only clever exchange between these two characters but their body language and their acting just with their look was crazy.

Ending was so good as well. Jane showed how brilliant he is one more time.

It is surely in top 3 episodes of mentalist so far if not 1st.

Started to Fall Off

I was really enjoying this show up to the point they reach to that new capital. People complain about Queen and I understand why but I really enjoy her acting. Real downside for this season for me is Kofun. We already knew Kofun was stupid but he has gotten much worse. I cannot even stand the actions he is performing. I dislike Haniwa's forced relationship. The ending of this episode is really stupid too. Writers need to think more and stop being lazy in their script and general story telling. They have really solid material in their hands but they are keep wasting it in this season. For example, there was so much potential in Kerrigan's character as Lord Harlan does but they wasted him. I started to fear it will get worse in next episodes. I hope they can figure out what they are doing.
