Fresh Kills (2023)
10/10
This is what Independent Film is all about!
16 October 2023
FRESH KILLS is the BEST film I have seen on the festival circuit in the last 15 years. A gritty, gut wrenching story about two sisters that are stuck in a life they didn't choose... Their father's mob world. BUT, It's NOT a Mob film.

The depth of character these two young actors (Emily Bader & Odessa A'zion) share in their performances, explodes from the script on to the screen, via the expert direction of Esposito. Like all classic Independent Films, FRESH KILLS is intimate and raw, while bursting at the seams with story, content and style. It should be on everyone's must see list for 2024 and beyond!

Puppy Love (II) (2023)

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, PUPPY LOVE!!!
26 August 2023
Warning: Spoilers
It's so refreshing to see a fun, funny, sweet Romantic Comedy again. Truly a lost genre! We need more movies like PUPPY LOVE that the entire family can watch and laugh... And even get misty eyed about. Such a fun movie for pet lovers, too! Doggie Lamaze? That girl (Rachel) was one funny B! Hahahaha!!! But I think that the best part was the modern day approach to a generational story about how we sabotage ourselves when it comes to love... Usually because of deep rooted fears that we aren't willing to face or share. The OCD boy meets the fatherless girl, without a cliche solution. Just face it, talk it out and move on together, knowing that trusting someone is the only way. Rent this movie today!!!!
