Brother Sun, Sister Moon (1972)

A really good movie

This is a film focused on the early years of Francis of Assisi, where he breaks up with the traditions of the catholic church and decides to take the life of Jesus seriously and where he is willing to offer everything to live according to the Gospels. Francis of Assisi realized that real joy has it roots in the Gospels no matter what the circumstance is. We can in one way state that Francis of Assisi was one of Martin Luther's forerunners. All in all this is a beautiful film about finding the real Truth in a world that's messed up and occupied by catholic traditions and worldly riches in the name of Christianity. Maybe this film can help us on the way to find peace in our hearts and minds, and reveal more of who Jesus really was and is and who he really should be in our lives too. I give it 9 out of 10.

Lay It Down (2001)

Right on!

This is a very "right on case" movie that delivers everything almost right in your face. I'm a Christian and liked the film in one way. It had some average acting from the main person, and it was a low budget as you clearly can see. It can be a bit long-winded, but the film has some quite nice cars that rescues it from a lower rating from me. As a Christian film it was quite good, but maybe a bit right-on in the message. The film works best on a big screen. *SPOILERS* The fighting scene with the two brothers can remind you of the fighting scene between the two brothers in the Christian thriller "Mercy Streets" starring Eric Roberts.*End of Spoiler* I give it a 7/10.

To End All Wars (2001)

Superb!

This is the best war movie I've seen. As a Christian I love the (true) story of forgiveness in the film. The movie shows Jesus-likeness in action. I can't remember that any other war movie has touched me more than this one. I've seen "Saving Private Ryan" etc., but as I remember it, it didn't touch me like this one. I think that the only reason this one didn't get as famous as other war movies, was because of it's strong Christian message. Go and buy/rent it now, it's worth the money. If you're not a Christian, it will not chase Christianity on you. Oh man, this is a true story of forgiveness. I give it 10/10.

Gone (2002)

Too bad!

I'm a Christian, and I have watched pretty of Christian movies, but this one is too bad. They try to make this good, but it's too hard for them I think.

• You can see the film is badly dubbed in many places. - You can almost think that the mainpersons in this film was the only ones left behind. I think there will be a lot more of them.

• The quality is poor, and the acting could have been better too. The story is not so very bad, but could've been better. The only plus I give, is to the story in this film, but totally I can't rate it more than 3/10. Watch "Left Behind" instead!

Megiddo: The Omega Code 2 (2001)

The worst so called christian movie ever made!

What a waste of time. After this movie I realized that it was the Faith Movements TBN productions that stand behind this film. I have found out after reading some "heavy" stuff, that the Faith Movement is really wolves in sheep clothes when it comes to the different christian groups and churches. In this movie you will clearly see that: 1. They don't even mention the name of Jesus Christ in the entire movie, they call Him the nazaren. 2. The focus is set on Satan and not Jesus Christ our Saviour. 3. It's a miracle if somebody receives Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour after watching this movie. 4. When the Anti-christ brother, David Alexander, comes into this church in the town, every people thinks he is the messiah and they come to him and ask him to save them. 5. This movie have much plot holes, and things that don't match with The Word of God. This is just a few points of many, that I could mention, that makes this film too bad. Watch out for these TBN productions. I've watched "Carman: The Champion" and it disapointed me too, when people call it a christian film. Watch the "Left Behind" movies instead or the "Apocalypse" movies. They are much better. This movie doesn't deserve more that 1 out of 10.

In the Beginning (2000)

Not the best movie

"In the Beginning" is a movie(mini) that takes us through the five first books in the Bible. You can expect some visual effects, and average acting.

I did not enjoy the movie, but I didn't either hate it, so watch it once, and let go with that. I rate it 5/10.

I was surprised how good this movie actually was. I've watched this almost ten hour movie twice already. As a christian I just loved to see Peter and Paul in action. There acting was just great. Peter was so great, and Paul too. You could almost see, that the Holy Spirit was working in them, and the message was very Biblical and good... This one is released on VHS in three parts. So it is possible to get it on VHS. But I hope it will be released on DVD soon. This movie is highly recommended. I give it 9 out of 10.

Fantastic Documentary

This documentary shows you Bruce Lee's life, how he went to be as good in Martial Arts as he was. There are also a great look at the original version of the "Game of Death" fighting in the Tower scenes. These scenes are just great, very different from the 78 version. And they are never been showed before. So take a look here, and see how Bruce Lee takes his one inch punch and much more....

The Wrong Guy (1997)

Funny idiot-movie

This is one of the funniest idiot-movies I've seen. I mean, it's dumber than "Dumb & Dumber". Dave Foley is just fantastic in the leading role as Nelson Hibbert, and Jennifer Tilly it's great too as Nelsons coming girlfriend.

But I think this film is meant for peoples that like idiot humor, if you don't, then don't see this one, because I've experienced that this type of people don't seem to like movies like this. So if you like idiot movies, then take a look at this. I liked it and I gave it 7.5/10. Go and rent it now :)

Ben-Hur (1959)

What else can I say: GREAT!!!

This is just one of the greatest movies I've ever seen. It's old, yes, but it's great, great and great to be as old as it is. The special effects are great and the acting is hilarious. The story is from biblical time, when Jesus was living on earth. We meet Juda Ben-Hur who becomes a innocent slave under his best friend Messala, who becomes his worst enemy. The fight for freedom is hard and painfully, and Juda Ben-Hur has to do everything to prove his innocence, but is there much to prove? Charlton Heston does a great job as the leading role as Juda Ben-Hur. And he is great. I've watched this movie first time when I was 10, and I've watched it several times after that. I hope just they could send this old version on the cinemas again. One of the best movie ever made. Look just at the Oscars.

It deserves 10**********/10 :)

Calm at Sunset (1996 TV Movie)

Great

A great TV film about a boy in his best age that wishes to be a fisherman, but will his wishes be true? Great acting makes this movie great. If you like dramatic films, this is a film for you. The movie takes time in the ninties and how a young boy fights for his rights to be a fisherman. One of the better TV films.
