A Quiet Place Part II (2020)
Quiet...and in the dark.
Worthy sequel. Better that Jim wasn't in it. Details don't matter with this movie. Sometimes frustrating but a worthy sequel.
Kynodontas (2009)
Where do I start, when do I go with this?
Overall... I really liked it. "My mind says no, but my body is telling me yes" type of movie. Definitely something from out of left field when it comes to movies, but I actually liked it. You will or you won't I can guarantee it.
Daniel Isn't Real (2019)
Mental Health 101..who actually needs to be medicated
We all live/exist in that socially acceptable circle that we also medicate others to exist in with us. What drives that, what is it? Existing outside that Circle. The psychosis? A chemical imbalance or something else? A something beyond our realm only some can truely see. That seed of truth is always there though. That seed of purity fights everyday for some, to exist in our comfortable circle of acceptance. An excellent representation of what psychosis/ severe mental health can be for some. Some won't get the film.... I did. I spent many years case facilitating better avenues of recovery on the topic with humans living with severe and persistent mental health illnesses.
Gisaengchung (2019)
My first 10/10
I'll give this a 10 because there is no room for improvement. My first 10. Loved it. A mix of everything in one movie. Cannot give any spoilers away..you'll have to watch for yourself. You won't be disappointed.
Hannibal (2013)
A great binge watch.
Loved it. Loved all of it. Agent Scully's (X-files Scully) appearance was an epic twist. A great collective add to The Silence of The Lambs fans collective.
Preacher (2016)
Best Series yet
Absolutely brilliantly done. Enjoyed all the seasons. Incorporating all the characters from history excellent also. Where do I start... just watch it.
Your Honor (2020)
Oh the irony.
All in all a good series .. even with Cranston's over usage of words to explain the situation similar to Breaking Bad type casting. Kept me hanging on how it would end. Oh the irony in that last moment. It itself lifted my rating by a single star or two. 8/10.
Ozark (2017)
Top shelf Series.
The Series you wish you had all the time to watch each week for the rest of your life type good. Season Four should be also epic. Jason Bateman at his finest.
Dark (2017)
Got to watch with English subs, and not the over dub to get that German passion behind it
Absolutely astounding. On a random note.. I had a friend who worked on the aging makeup from my home town in Oz. The best thing to come out of Germany tv wise. I swear the writers got lost but the end explained it all. A new age version of Butterfly Effect but 300 times better in delivery.
I'll Be Gone in the Dark (2020)
This writer/blogger was his last victim.
Absolutely harrowing, brilliant and exceptional all at the same time 10/10.
The Wilds (2020)
Watchable.
Definitely an example of the negative effects of Modern Day Feminism and the oppressive control over people that it desires whether you like it or not. I enjoyed the show though. Lost a few stars when Rachel Griffiths character kept banging on about fixing the Patriachy.
The Undoing (2020)
Too much Botox Nichole
The acting and entire show was epic. Kept you guessing right until the end. Absolutely brilliant except Nicoles botox levels that left her facial expressions minimalistic. Other that that a solid 9/10
The Endless (2017)
The amount of times over the years I watched preview.
I finally watched it. I liked it. I've seen worse. The ending could of been done better, like it wasn't bad. At the end I was left with one question. Is there their loop 10yrs? 20yrs? Some problems with it but enjoyed it quite a bit all round.
Unhinged (2020)
Had potential
Gave it a 5 from Russell's input. Lifted it from a 3.5 out of 10. Mum is an idiot, not too bad over all but her choices were very dismal. Cringe ending that sent rating downhill real fast... "think twice better be nice moment" dropped the whole scoring out of 10 below 5 as a base. Some good moments.
Ouija Shark (2020)
Where are they now? This needs a director's cut.
I was not disappointed. Stellar performances all round with unexpected turns and graphic kill scenes worthy of any Oscar nomination. Truely a mystifying and at some times intelligent movie perfectly portrayed throughout with the artistic talents of the cast and film crew. 10/10. There better be a Ouija Shark 2.
Ava (2020)
Such a let down
A great acting line up but their delivery was astoundingly boring. Even the fight scenes were lacking. Not worth much to watch unless you need to fill in 90 odd minutes, and only if you can download it free. Disappointed
Behind the Trees (2019)
No Bob's. No vagene.
I cannot get my time back on this one. Seriously one of the best worst movies I've ever endured. Even the wifey agreed. One star tops on rating. Best to watch if really bored and even then grass growing is more exciting to watch.
Dispatches from Elsewhere (2020)
Self indulgence attempt to justify existence
Jason here has taken a self indulgent exploration of himself to try to explain and tell you that "you" are the difference, you make that change, it's all about you. Life choices in general. You're strung along for 10 episodes with massive viewing attention interests made up of ups and downs. Strung along like a donkey to a carrot. In the end the reasoning is revealed. If it's your cup of tea, really you are part of what's wrong with this world if you didn't see this coming. I gave it a 4 star but you could float that to a 6 but also a 2. His Dracula musical the same as Forgetting Sarah Marshall...reveals evidently this was his story trying to relate to "you" to get the message across....450 minutes later. A very long winded way of saying , "you have nothing to lose but yourself and never lose that."
