The Boonies (2021)
OK, pass your way
I felt violated by this movie
Between the inbearable screams of the sons and the length of most of the scenes that add nothing to the movie and are dispensable
And I felt it right away, the most dispicable charater (among the campers) is the one that survives
It's simple, the movie is short but it seemed ilke 3h
A big waste even if it's a low budget movie
How come a movie producer/director gave birth to this and think that it was good ?
Get Gone (2019)
It was awful
4 points for the effort
Nothing to remember but so many things to forget
Nothing else to add
Servant (2019)
Not good, not bad, but not good...
What is it with producers creating lots of MacGuffins and not even exploit them ?
This 1st season is a waist.
Boring, constantly awaiting for something to happen.
Intriguing but not enough to arouse interest.
No personal interest in the characters, I tried though.
I don't know, it was a purge to watch this show.
But I made it !
Another series I delete at once as soon as I've seen it !
Dracula (2020)
Boring and disappointing
I enjoyed the first episode.
Despite the constant flashbacks that interrupt the narration, I wanted for more.
The second episode was quite out of context at the beginning, but allowed to explore the personality of Dracula, and then reaches the main story.
I was hoping that the third episode would save this series.
But it was not the case...
The series isn't crap but it's poorly executed and recurrently absurd.
Nonsense, boredom, and a big MEH after finishing all 3 episodes.
Forget it.
The Shasta Triangle (2019)
Took me 3 times to finish this movie
And I'm not happy about this.
Just don't waist your time...
47 Meters Down: Uncaged (2019)
Don't do this...
One of the few, rare, movie I could not finish viewing.
1h I endured, but then I said "no more".
It's awful and stupid, period.
Channel Zero (2016)
I don't know...
Down to the 2 first seasons.
Each pilots promised great things
Disappointedly the following episodes were deceiving.
It's too much stretched, especially in developping characters for such simple stories and boring.
Some series lack of character developping while their stories are twisted and complicated as can be.
And they don't take the time to develop characters, whereas in Channel Zero they develop characters but not the story although the story is very simple.
2x3 episodes per season would have been great.
I would have prefered twice urban legends addressed than one per season.
I found the 2nd season better than the first one though.
Waiting to see the 3rd and 4rth season.
It's just a "meh" +1 because the production is ok.
But it's soooo slow...
Many scenes could have lasted 5-10 seconds, but no.
Producers decided that 30-40 seconds is better because we have to make 6 episodes.
Swamp Thing (2019)
I understand why they cancelled
I had so much difficulties to binge-watch this series...
Usually 1 day is ok to me for a 10 episodes series.
Took me 3 days to finish it.
Even had to pause during the episodes, listening to music or watch streaming.
Just to chill, the series bored and annoyed me so much.
Good realisation though, but... meh.
Godzilla: King of the Monsters (2019)
The story and the actor telling WTF?
The script is awful, I had to take 5 pauses to finish the film...
Just because I don't like not finishing a film.
Men in Black: International (2019)
Don't understand the ratings
Ok it's not great.
But I found the spirit of the first MIB :
Fun, derision and WTF aliens.
Go see for yourself ;p
Secret Obsession (2019)
15 minutes and you know the end.
Netflix still have not learned how to make a movie.
Decent series yes, but movies, no, not the same format.
The only movie Netflix produced that I liked was Annihilation, and it wasn't without controversy.
So beware, this is not a good one...
Return to Horror Hotel (2019)
Uuuuh, WTF ?
First act was interesting, 30 minutes.
It ended like "what's this sh**, I'm out", rushed to go to the next act.
The 3 following acts, barely last 15 minutes each and are all disapponting and unfinished.
And the acting is awful.
I wasted my time...
I Am Mother (2019)
As always with Netflix movies
Good catching film but wrong realsation, and upmost bad ending.
It's like they know how to make good series with an end, but no movivies.
