Bupkis (2023)
Hopefully there's another season
I enjoyed every bit of this show, I'm hoping for another season. I don't think Pete Davidson gets the credit he deserves. Hopefully, people can see how well he actually he can put things together, for example his movie the king of staten Island. If you enjoyed Bupkis, you would enjoy that movie. Ten out of ten! I dont understand the negative press this show was getting? There are crude moments but nothing horrible, there's real meat on the bone for this show. I'm now running out of things to say but I have 89 characters left and if I don't use this up my review won't post and I want my review to help the show a bit.
Creed III (2023)
Wanted to like it but...
First of all I'm a huge Rocky fan and although it should be Creed's time to shine, it felt very wrong that Rocky was completely left out of this movie. I would have settled for any kind of scrap, fake phone call, funny FaceTime attempt by Rocky, anything. It's only a movie but Sly should not have been kicked to the curb the way he was. Honestly, the only thing that brought any emotion into this movie is seeing Creed as a father and helping raise a beautiful little girl. Also, seeing his mom taking her last breath was done so very well and was heartbreaking at the same time...also how Creed did not suspect a Tanya Harding attempt on Drago is beyond me. The second it happened I thought, kneecap/hands, oh please....
Shrinking (2023)
Really Enjoying it
I was actually shocked by all the boo hooing going on here. My husband and I are really enjoying each episode. People complaining about jokes falling flat are probably not watching the same show. I'm actually very impressed by the entire cast, very rarely do you get so many actors that can really feed off each other and make one five minute scene feel like two minutes. For example, the scene where Sean is looking through the trash. There's so much chunk on TV and not much is worth the time to invest but Shrinking is actually a good one to watch and I would be shocked if you truly were disappointed.
Modern Family: New Kids on the Block (2019)
Please Stop
Come on Modern Family, you could have done better but you put this out instead? I already don't like the Claire character and her decision to just dismiss her daughter is infuriating. Guess what Claire?! Haley was right to treat you like you didn't know what you were doing! Grandma sneaking in baby formula had me livid. It was not her place to do so and ESPECIALLY when Mom doesn't want to offer it! I wish TV would take this topic seriously and stop perpetuating myths about breastfeeding. It 100% matters what you feed your children! Don't be fooled by advertising! The entire episode had me cringing, not to mention the whole Cam and Mitch debacle.
Brooklyn Nine-Nine (2013)
Wokelyn 99
We thoroughly enjoyed the show, it had a lot of great episodes and it started to decide to go woke. The final season lays it on thick and we have decided to not even finish watching. Seven seasons of watching, down the drain. Similar thing happened with Superstore.
Dave Chappelle: The Closer (2021)
Worth a watch
Dave is always entertaining and although this special wasn't a string of funny jokes, it's still worth the watch. Those of you giving it one star for his "half hearted apologies" just don't get it. You are the ones he's actually making fun of!
Ted Lasso (2020)
Absolutely Great TV
Thoroughly enjoyed each episode! Very rare do I come across a show, where even the extras add to the show. If this show doesn't entertain you, check your pulse.
Heartland (2007)
Heartland is like a good cup of hot cocoa.
Investing time in this series won't lead to disappointment. I have enjoyed every episode to date.
Cobra Kai (2018)
Great Job
Absolutely great job done on this series. RM said several times he passed up opportunities to remake TKK, something different about the Cobra Kai pitch, glad he waited for this right time.
Grimm (2011)
Enjoyed it But...... Spoilers
When you get past Juliet's annoying character, the show is enjoyable. My biggest problem is how they glossed over the fact Nick was raped, even as far as just simply being ok with the aftermath of it all. Although I'm female myself, I often notice the double standards when it comes to men vs women in TV/film. For example, it's hilarious to hit a man...drives me insane...anyway the show was enjoyable investment...especially Monroe!
