Ozark: Fire Pink (2020)
SO. ANNOYING.
This episode was so. annoying.
Not only did Ben's character feel completely useless to the storyline, this episode in particular was so hard to sit through.
I know that the acting was great but Jesus. The choices he made - even with the fact that he was supposed to be portraying a character with severe mental illness were stupid and frustrating.
On top of that - why WHY GOD were they eating in EVERY single scene in this episode? It made me so mad.
And Wendy's sobbing at the end - my god.
I just can't say enough about how mad this episode made me. Haha.
The Handmaid's Tale: Heroic (2019)
Purposeful and Powerful
What people don't seem to understand is that not every episode or tv show needs to be packed with suspense or dramatic scenes to be considered good. This episode is quiet and impactful. We see a change in June in her interaction with the doctor. Something has shifted and the trajectory of the show, and June's values, has changed. While it may not have been the most exciting episode by any means, this episode wasn't just "boring filler". It was impeccably written and intentionally placed just like every other episode.
