This is everything wrong with "reality" TV all wrapped into one attitude riddled sexy? gathering of plastic surgery obsessed women
2 January 2011
Warning: Spoilers
This show is funny when you hear what it is about. Silly, when you sit down and give this show 10 seconds of your hard earned time on earth. I would not recommend this show to anyone except for those writing a term paper on horrible television programming.

The characters are laughable overused clichés of girls who have far too much attitude and makeup coupled with minimal cerebral activity. Yawn.

To summarize the actual show, I shall complete a play by play starting.....now! : Girl wins a challenge, girl gets plastic surgery on her -insert body problem here- , and other girls come to console her in person or ridicule and scheme behind her back. Yikes.

This show was so interesting for nearly 20 seconds back in y2k. But today, this show has no place but to take up space in the void that is early year programming.

I hope you read this and run far, far away. I hope that your television show you are currently watching is making you laugh endlessly and melt away all of your fears regarding the upcoming work week.

Steer clear of this one, as long as you want to actually be able to discuss what you watched this weekend without being ostracized.

Oh Bret
26 December 2010
Contrived concerts and after parties, endless "rock" clichés, and slutty older ladies all coupled with horrible new solo material.

The thing about reality TV is that it sometimes needs to be removed from reality to be interesting. The episode in Indy shows us Bret as a man of many values who does not let the after party get too crazy but, just prior to this he explained how he throws a killer bus party....how does that make sense?

The premise of this show is Bret fighting off his former diabetic rocker self in favour of letting Bret the lamed down family man steal the show. This leaves us with all of the details of everyday life wrapped up in a bandanna and poorly chosen graphic tee.

The kids are less than mildly entertaining and Kristi is just the same. I am not saying my life as a child was nothing but champagne and limousines but, this is so slowly paced.

If you have seen Bret before (in concert or otherwise) you needn't use up your 10:30 Monday night time slot or whatever deathtrap this show dwells in.

Entertainment : 1 star

Bandana Usage : 10 stars

Skankity : 10 stars (depends on how you look at it, super slutted up)

Good, Clean, Late-Night Fun
17 April 2009
Warning: Spoilers
Started watching the show from the beginning. My girlfriend forced me into watching it but, after a few minutes I was watching the show willingly and on my own accord. If you are new to the show, please start from the beginning as it becomes very confusing with the vast amount of characters and (although not yet, but slowly becoming) complex backdrop. I honestly can not even remember more than one character's name as there are nearly fifty it seems.

The show basically comes down to this: Small town island with a definite class system in play that has an old legend of a serial killer coming back to life. If you like horror, this will be an entertaining show for you. If you don't, at least the cast is great eye candy. Hubba Hubba ;) P.S. Also can not wait for next episode as it is on my birthday!!! Love it!

The Bob & Tom Show (2008– )

Good Highlights from a GREAT Radio Show
28 February 2009
Anyone who has ever heard the Bob and Tom Show on the radio knows that it is impossible to bottle the essence and nuances in the format of a television show. Being able to see the hosts of the show and numerous comedians is nice, but not at all needed to truly get the true spirit of the radio show. It is always hard to summarize how truly great the show is in such a short time frame. The situation is very similar to Jim Rome is Burning. The radio shows are infinitely better than the television shows will ever be. At least Bob and Tom is the live recording of the radio show, Jim Rome's show is simply a regurgitation. The show also leaves a lot to be desired as far as the camera work goes. The only thing it seems to really highlight is how little the hosts seem to actually pay attention to the guests. Funny to watch, but leaves a sense of Bob and Tom not caring and being off in their own worlds.

Watchable but not a Must See by any means.
