Loved every second
16 February 2024
I absolutely loved this from the very first episode. I did have this small niggle that maybe they hadn't cast Emma right because I just didn't find her believable as the love interest to start with but that soon disappeared as the chemistry built. It's just thoroughly enjoyable easy watching and I didn't want it to be over. All the acting is fantastic but Leo Woodall was exceptional and I can see this being the start of many great things of him. I hadn't read the book so didn't know the story which kept me even more hooked as I loved the suspense of if and when they would get together. It's heartwarming and heartbreaking.

The Take (2009)

Why hasn't this been seen by more people!

This to me is so underrated! I absolutely loved it. Considering how big Tom Hardy is now I don't understand why it's not more popular. I binged the who lot in one go. The acting is incredible and the story line is great. It keeps you interested and gripped the whole way through. If you like Tom Hardy it is for you. Has done really good twists and turns and there is nothing predictable about it. I don't normally write reviews on here but really wanted to for this as I really feel like it deserves more recognition than it seems to have gotten considering it is pretty old now. I 100% recommend giving it a watch,

Great for the vegan cause

Having been vegan for many years this documentary shines a much over due light on why we all need to move to a plant based diet. I really hope this platform helps more people understand why we should not be eating fish. It exposes the darkest side of the fishing industry which I can only hope in sites change finally.

Educational for those of us living in ignorance
3 August 2019
This was painful to watch. Having seen Earthlings I was hopefully the UK would in some way be more humane..... it's not. This film is short and straight to the point. We are lead to believe UK farming is in some way superior and it's just not the case. This should be shown in schools as part of kids education to allow them to make informed life choices. I was a meat eater before I watched this but I'm not anymore. Transition to vegan was actually easy! This film changed my life.

Painful watch but so necessary
3 August 2019
This was incredibly painful to watch but is completely necessary for those of us living in ignorance that the cheap meat we buy is in some way "high welfare". What we are used to seeing is snippets of lovely little local farms which are complete out of the ordinary. I have seen some reviews call this film propaganda but you really are choosing to block out the true if you believe this isn't a fair representation of large scale commercial farming.

Only negative is it's a bit to long.
