Walker: It's a Nice Day for a Ranger Wedding (2023)
Oh, please!
Supposedly repairing a mistake by getting remarried. Who would make a Hollywood production out of this? You expect your friends to pay for this jamboree because you made a mistake? On cop salaries? Maybe if you have a no-show job in the energy business with China, Romania and Ukraine and unlimited free time. This is like high school script writing class.
Walker still delivers his lines like he is trying to swallow his tongue. "The quick-- brown fox jumped-- over the-- lazy dog." (Long uncomfortable pause). Walker wants us to think he has PTSD but it seems more likely he has an STD and is too embarrassed to talk about it.
Walker: Mum's the Word (2022)
It's not what you know, it's who you know
After 28 years in a merit system in another state, it's really painful to see favoritism shown to a new Ranger who skipped over the requirements, mainly because he is the captain's buddy.
I would like to know if one Ranger has ever been hired in modern times (not the 1800's Rangers) without the specified time spent in the Department of Public Safety, at the required rank etc. He surely is entitled to a "Thank you for your service" but you can be sure others served in real life and didn't get the job. I doubt a group of real Rangers would smile and applaud while watching Trey get a badge that someone else should be wearing.
Blue Bloods: In Too Deep (2021)
Lamborghini lunacy
I'm not sure why you would need an attention-getting supercar to commit a suburban crime and how you could predict the exact moment someone exits their house with the garbage. Maybe it's me. Did I miss something? I'll just suspend logic for an hour.
Why was the shooter allowed to walk up to his unfaithful wife with cops standing there? Is he still armed? This shooter knew he was going to prison as an end result of his wife's promiscuity. The conclusion was all lovey-dovey but frisking seems to be called for here. Jack Ruby had his reasons too.
I'm glad the nutty podcast lady got a win and the fake invalid got busted. Also happy that Eddie got to rib Jamie about his old "friend."
Hawaii Five-0: Ke Ku 'Ana (2016)
Worst episode ever (including the Jack Lord days)
This is the producers mea culpa for making seven seasons of shows that are dependent on lots of gun play where the old show had more class and better stories. It should have been reported to the Federal Election Commission as a contribution to Hillary Clinton. They certainly did not contribute to this show's legacy.
Ripley wouldn't believe this one. The villain/hero attacks innocent people to prove guns are terrible. The legislators, the lobbyists and manufacturers are the real villains. Danny agrees with him and wants to confiscate all guns until only cops are armed. This episode wants to make the guy look sane with a legitimate beef. If he had used birth control years earlier, life would have been much simpler but this cockamamie script had to be slapped together before the election. Unfortunately it has more holes in it than Bonnie and Clyde.
