Inside (2023)
Unexpected survival movie
I wonder if the negative reviewers just don't get it? Or just can't fathom how essentially we are all trapped by technology and needless material objects.
A man (thief) is locked inside a highly secured apartment in New York City. Owned by a posh, arrogant, eccentric, sadistic, rich art enthusiast that happens to be gone for a loooong vacation.
Though the thief is surrounded by high tech, it has all for the most part malfunctioned. Down to the automatic faucets. The food left consists of condiments and moldy crackers ( that are in short supply) . The only drinkable water comes from a timed plant irrigation system ( thats seems to have been intentionally kept functioning only to barely keep the thief alive.
It seems he's been locked up for weeks upon weeks according to his weight loss and large pile of excrement.
I'm no art enthusiast but I found it interesting all the art he created as his mind deteriorated. Drawing on the walls, destroying valuable paintings and furniture. Only to create something different from them. Also what I found interesting is how insignificant the millions of dollars of art and technology became. Since the thief was in a sense becoming a caveman again. Only surviving on the essentials. At one point he had to start a fire using a magnifying lens.
So. I took to heart some things from this movie. One being, us not realizing we are that guy trapped inside by our technology and material possessions. Two, stay prepared in case you are stuck inside. Three, fight and work like hell no matter what towards whatever problem you may be facing. And Four, DONT STEAL!! Karma is not magic, its called repercussions.
P. S. I really thought this whole situation was the owners sick plot to get art pieces to showcase from a man that was truly going insane by both of their doings. I thought we would see them on display at a posh showing in the end. Oh well. Good movie. Makes you think, if you can.
The Lawnmower Man (1992)
He is the internet.
He is the internet god that came in real life. Humanity isn't ready for such power. Look what social networking has done to us so far. He lives in all of us. Tapping into our thoughts worldwide. This is a true story of what a powerful tool capable of fixing many of humanities issues of course was used in the wrong way by humans. What a powerful invention that has created more problems than it has fixed. Some countries have banned or significantly limited such power. An invention that has accelerated mass hysteria beyond the inventors good intentions. We were simple like Jobe. Unfortunately like Jobe. The corporations that now own it and exploit it turned our lives similar.
What Lies Below (2020)
Bad bad bad
If you feel like being super confused and like wtf moments and like wasting your time and getting political? Watch it. Good luck.
Jay and Silent Bob Reboot (2019)
Warning. Chronic pothead went Big Liberal.
KEVIN wants to cash in on the division of the country these days. So. This movie will go down into the pit of ashes of crappy remakes "reboots". Will never be seen by anyone born this year. Forgettable.
On Deadly Ground (1994)
Great action
Michael Cain in this role reminds me of how the Clintons would have ran things if Hillary won. Thanks god her phoney smile never won the hearts of 65 million smart voters. Steven Segal was awesome as usual.
Tactical Force (2011)
B. B. B. Baaad.
Watching this movie before a Steven Segal movie will make Steve's movies look like Oscar material. I like cheesy action flicks, but, Delta Farce is better than this!!
MacGruber (2010)
Side splitting.
Man. Whoever gives this movie a low rating has a boring life. I laughed so hard I teard up. Not to many movies compare.
Home Alone: The Holiday Heist (2012)
Made for tv. movie
Basic acting made for tv Home Alone movie. They definitely used the name to get viewers. Any other title wouldn't have gotten my attention to watch a made for tv Christmas movie. That being said, I actually still liked it. It is what it is. More like a Hallmark or Lifetime movie, very wholesome and family friendly. Fun, simple easy watching. Think I'm a new fan of these simple movies. We'll see how long Thats lasts.
Another Dirty Room (2016)
Everyone needs to see this!!
These troopers take one for the team by booking rooms at low rated hotels. This is the real deal. Very personable people and fun to watch. Any rational person would react the same if not worse. Hope the health department sees this. Wish they would make more episodes. Thats my only complaint.
Castle Rock (2018)
Sure this isn't a Netflix production !?
Here we go again. Another show or movie I couldn't wait to watch and was ruined by liberal infestation. Annie Wilkes plays a great in the mind of a liberal. I should have known. Stephen King joined the posse Or is the posse.
The Peacemaker (1997)
Same Clooney as always.
I don't understand why people think Clooney is a great actor. In every show, movie and interviews hes the same. Cocky head tilting arrogant tough guy. He ruined this movie.
Porkin' Across America (2012)
Awesome Travel show parody!!
The acting is seems so authentic. I didn't know they were actors until I looked Porkin Across America on IMDB. My biggest issue is why the he'll didn't someone expand on this idea. This show and the cast are so great it'll leave you wanting more. But we'll never get it.
Gerald's Game (2017)
Wow
Wow. Best movie I've seen in awhile. Get ready to have your head tested.
Time Trap (2017)
Cool idea.
I love the idea of this movie, but. This movie should have been longer with better actors. Still pretty darn good. Hopefully someday this movie is redone or repackaged.
Vikings (2013)
Historic. Until the 21st century took over.
I'll just say this. The show kicks ass for the most part seasons 1 through 2.5. Its OK onward. But. A big But. This show could have stayed historically accurate and we could have learned from history. Instead the producers decided to lack on history and provide for this centuries progressive movement. Which by the way wasn't even sufficient enough for that demographic. It wasn't fair enough to them. You be the judge. Someday a REAL depiction of these heathans will be depicted. Vikings is still in the Stone Age of cinema while trying to satisfy everyone TODAY and sacrificing what histories notes were trying to tell us.
The Garbage Pail Kids Movie (1987)
80s flick!!
This is your typical 80s flick with a twist. The real critics sure hated this film when it premiered. I grew up in the 80s and never seen this until now. I love it for what it is. It's The Garbage Pail Kids!' To those people with 1 ratings. Did you expect Gone With the Wind, or Good Fellas? Duhh!
