The boys are as funny as they ever were!
29 September 2022
Let's start by saying that I love Beavis and Butt-head, I've seen both movies and both iterations of the show and laughed all the way through and let me say, I am so glad they are back. They are just as funny as they ever were. I'm also really happy that they brought Beavis and Butt-head into the current world, this leads to funny plots like the Escape Room episode and the reactions to Tik Tok and YouTube videos which are really funny in my opinion. These reactions provide something different then music videos, like the reality TV segments did in the 2011 revival. Of course they still react to music videos as well. I also like how the other characters are aged up like Van Driessen and Stewart. (somehow Tom Anderson is the same age but whatever, it's nice to see him). I also love the episodes where the boys are aged up themselves because it's exactly what I expected them to be like when they grew up but it's really funny to watch because we've never seen this before. Another thing I like is that they've brought Beavis' love of fire back into the show. In the original series, when fire was banned, it was like a part of Beavis' personality was also banned. They also brought it back for the movies and the 2011 revival but it's nice to see they haven't forgotten. Overall, it's really well done and it's nice to see that Mike Judge hasn't forgotten the moral of the characters: Keep trying to score.

One of my favourite animated shows
19 June 2022
This may be one of my favourite shows of all time, it's definitely one of my favourite animated shows. This show comes from the creator of "Beavis and Butt-head" and aired the same year that show ended. They are very different shows, both are funny but very different. While one show is about two dumb people doing dumb things, this show is about a family living in Arlen Texas and getting into a different situation each episode. The humour is also different, B&B's humour is very raunchy and adult while this humour is more kid friendly, less in your face and more hidden. They are not setup in a way where they have lead ups and punchlines like other comedy shows, they are layered jokes that come from the characters personalities, they are funny because we know the characters. The main characters are as follows:

Hank Hill- The father of the Hill family who sells propane and propane accessories, he also enjoys to drink beer in the alley with his friends. He is also intelligent and not like other animated fathers, he also actually cares for his wife and son.

Peggy Hill- The mother of the Hill family, she's more a stay at home mom but she occasionally substitutes as a Spanish teacher. She's also very competitive.

Bobby Hill- Hank and Peggy's son. He is very different from his dad and is in to a lot of different things (many of which provides plots for some of the episodes). He's not into sports and is more into comedy acts.

Luanne Platter- Niece of Hank and Peggy who is not very bright but is sweet and emotional. She is staying with the Hills but eventually gets her own house as her mother is in prison and so is her father.

Dale Gribble: One of Hanks friends who is an exterminator. He loves conspiracy theories and enjoys drinking beer.

Bill Dauterive: Another one of Hanks friends who is divorced and down on his luck but he looks up to Hank and the rest of his friends and finds comfort in being their friends. (Also enjoys beer)

Boomhauer: Another ones of Hanks friends who is a bachelor and commonly has women in and out of his life. (That's about it as we can't even fully understand what he's saying). (Also enjoys beer).

Khan Souphanousinphone: Hanks neighbour who is Laotian and is into a higher way of living then Hank and believes he is higher then everyone else and therefore constantly gets on Hanks and his friends nerves but is occasionally friends with them.

Those are the key characters and a brief description of what each is like. I really recommend this show as I think it is hilarious. It may be a acquired taste though if you enjoy more obvious humour but it is just what I like. The last thing I will touch upon is how this show is much more realistic with storylines that may actually happen in everyone's lives. The episodes are not out of the realm of possibility like every other animated shows (e.g. The Simpsons, Family guy, etc). Overall, I highly recommend this show and I hope you guys check it out. I watched it all the way through once and will probably watch it all the way through again in my lifetime. :))))

No Chevy Chase!!!
21 December 2021
This has to be one of the worst movies ever. I've seen many terrible movies in my lifetime and this is definitely not the worst but is definitely no where close to a good movie. The movie goes as follows: Cousin Eddie gets fired from his Job and a Monkey from the company bites him in the ass so the company sends him on a all paid for Vacation with his family (his son, his wife, his niece Audrey, and his old uncle Nick) and on this Vacation "Hilarity" ensues. The first mistake they made was making a second Christmas Vacation and the second mistake they made was not having Chevy Chase and having Randy Quaid as a replacement. I love Randy Quaid as much as the next guy but having cousin Eddie as a replacement for Clark just doesn't work. Cousin Eddie was always funny in small doses but he just doesn't work as the star of the movie. This doesn't even deserve to be called "National Lampoons Christmas Vacation 2" because it is nowhere near the legacy of the first one. All the jokes fall flat and it makes the audience groan more then laugh and when they do laugh, it's a pity laugh, not because it's actually funny. The only good thing about this movie was that they got Dana Barron to reprise her role as Audrey (she played Audrey in the original Vacation but has been recast ever since) so it was nice to see her but that's it. That's all the positives I can give this movie.

I love Chevy Chase!
20 November 2021
I thought the Groove tube was a very funny movie and it also happens to be Chevy Chase's first full length feature film! It only runs around 75 mins and the movie is essentially a series of Channel One shorts but most of the shorts of hilarious. Some standouts include: The Koko the clown show, The cooking show, The let your fingers do it, and the international sex games. There were some shorts that were a little dry but most of them were really funny. This film also went on to inspire movies like: "The Kentucky fried movie". If you enjoyed that movie, you'll enjoy this movie. The groove tube was made in 1974 and stars: Chevy Chase, Richard Belzer and Ken Shapiro.

Awesome introduction!
31 October 2021
Warning: Spoilers
This pilot to Beavis and Butt-head is a awesome introduction to the characters and for what we're in for throughout the duration of the show. The plot goes as follows: Beavis and Butt-head are exploding insects with firecrackers before both noticing a frog and yelling "FROG BASEBALL!!!", they both run up to it and start to play baseball but with a frog instead of a ball. They play until the frog is no more, but then they notice a dog and yell "DOG BASEBALL!!!!!" and that's where it ends. If it sounds like a great introduction to the characters and their antics that's because it is and not to mention, they are as hilarious as ever here.

I've never laughed so hard!
31 October 2021
Let me just start off by saying that this reboot season is not as good as the initial run, not even close but this episode was hilarious. This is probably one of the greatest B&B episodes ever (even including the episodes from the 1993-1997 run). I think both episodes were great but "Tech Support" was something different, it had so many funny moments and Beavis and Butt-head both had some of their funniest lines ever here. Such as: "I understand your frustration". This honestly was the best episode out of the reboot season and felt like a episode from the classic original run.

Classic movie of the 80s
30 July 2021
This is probably the best and the funniest road trip movie I have ever seen in my life! The 80s had a bunch of very funny actors and comedians but Chevy Chase was the perfect choice to cast in this movie, he has chemistry with the rest of the cast and he can capture the perfect personality for the character of Clark (thinks he's smart but is certainly dim-witted). Of course the other actors do well too: Beverly D'Angelo, Randy Quaid, even the kids do a good job, and of course the cameo from John Candy as the Walley World security guard. John Hughes wrote this movie and he wrote movies such as Home Alone and Uncle Buck. He managed to use a recycled road trip plot and added enough bits to make it original. Harold Ramis as director who directed movies like Groundhog Day and Caddyshack. Ramis is a comedy legend! So this movie alone is filled with talent in front and behind the camera. So with the combination of Chevy chase in his prime and other talented actors as well as a talented writer and director, this movie is amazing. Definitely Chevy's best performance besides Fletch. I recommend this movie for anyone who enjoys 80s screwball comedy's. 9/10.

Very funny movie!
30 July 2021
I was surprised to see all the negative reviews for this movie considering the fact that it's considered a classic. I personally thought it was a very funny film and I would watch again. The whole cast knows what they are doing and they fit right in, particularly Chevy Chase, Rodney Dangerfield and Bill Murray (but everybody's good). Sure the humour is juvenile and immature at times but it's not supposed to be brilliant humour, it's supposed to be low-brow humour. All the people giving it a bad score probably were expecting brilliant humour. If you go into it expecting jokes to be layered and brilliant then you won't find much but if you go into it expecting low-brow, even dumb at times humour, you'll find it very funny. Overall though, I found it very funny and one of Chevy Chase's and Bill Murray's best performances. I recommend it for anybody who enjoys low-brow, cheap humour. 8/10.

Beavis and Butt-Head (1993–2011)

Hilarious!
17 June 2021
This show is definitely a product of the 90s but if you were born later, you could still find it funny. I could definitely see how it was controversial back in the 90s but since shows like Family Guy and South Park came out, this show is pretty mild compared. This show centers on two fifteen year old's who are dumb and borderline sociopathic named Beavis and Butt-head. They live in highland Texas and don't really care about anything. In the earlier episodes, all they do is Laugh, Make sexist and sexual jokes, play with fire and basically abuse animals. In the later episodes though, they basically just hurt themselves due to their poor judgment. They do these things in the funniest way possible though. They are oblivious and clueless which make them a joy to watch. Their one goal throughout the show is to get laid and that never happens and it is funny to watch them try. The episodes also have segments in them where the boys make the funniest commentary on music videos. This show is not for little kids though so as long as you know that, watch and enjoy.

This show WAS great.
6 May 2021
The reason I say that this show WAS great is because it was. I don't know what happened over the years but the show that was really funny is simply not funny anymore. I still gave this show 9 stars though because of how great those earlier seasons really were. Throughout the early 2000s this show was one of the funniest shows I have ever seen, hands down. Yes, it is also wickedly offensive but people take things way too seriously these days. People need to just take a joke. It's not like people who watch the show will start acting like this in real life, jeez. But beyond that, I loved this show and still do love the earlier seasons. I can still sit down and watch an old rerun and have a good laugh. This show was stupid, creative and offensive, but all those things made the show that much better. If you haven't seen the show for some reason this is the plot, it is about a dysfunctional family living in the town of Quahog, New England. These are the characters:

Peter: The dim witted father who is actually just a moron, but deep down he wants to do the right thing but his stupidity get him in trouble too often. He also loves beer. (He's my favourite in the show).

Lois: The wife who loves Peter though often gets mad at him for his shenanigans. She also loves her youngest son Stewie. (Seems like she forgets about her other 2 kids though). She is also a daredevil and stoner deep down and misses collage because of that.

Chris: The oldest son and is dumb and socially awkward so he doesn't have much friends.

Meg: The daughter who is not popular in school and who nobody likes. (Not even her own family which is funny).

Stewie: The 1 year old baby who nobody can understand what he says when he talks except for Brian and people outside the main family. He is evil and has an armoury and a time machine. His goal is to kill his mother and take over the world. He is also gay. Best friends with Brian too.

Brian: The dog of the family who acts like a human and talks like a human but also can't help being a dog naturally. He also has a crush on Lois. Best friends with Stewie too.

There are also many other characters like Cleveland, Joe, and Quagmire but it's best to leave some surprises. Overall I recommend the earlier seasons of this show to anyone (As long as you don't get offended over everything).

P. S the mayor of Quahog in this show is Adam West so that's a bonus.

One of my all time favourite shows
6 May 2021
This show is awesome! I love it. It birthed the whole genre of adult animation. All of the adult oriented animated shows are because of this one(even if this one is one of the tamer ones). I watch this show regularly and I still enjoy it(especially the older ones), I don't hate the new ones but the old ones are better. This show may be offensive to some but it's not as bad as Family Guy or South Park. If you haven't seen it, it is about a dysfunctional family living in a town called Springfield. The family consists of:

Homer: The dim witted father who wants to do the right thing but his stupidity always gets him in trouble. Also is very immature. (He's my favourite character). Also he loves doughnuts.

Marge: The mom who is the most level headed character on the show and sometimes gets overwhelmed by having to deal with 3(sometimes 4 if you count Homer) kids all day.

Bart: The rebellious son who always gets in trouble at school, skateboards and pisses off his dad.

Lisa: The smart daughter who honestly, is too smart for her family. She also likes to help anyone or anything by doing anything she can.

Maggie: The baby in the family who has sometimes shown a evil or suspicious side.

Overall this is a great show and I recommend it to anyone, although parents may want to watch it with a very young kid.

Iconic
5 May 2021
These are the Simpsons shorts that aired on the Tracey Ullman show from 1987-1989. These are iconic. If you loved Simpsons in the 90s this is it, just on a smaller scale since they are all shorts. It is also weird to see how the characters evolved from this. Some are good, others could of been better but I did enjoy each one.

Great!
5 May 2021
Warning: Spoilers
This is the first Simpsons thing to ever be made. It originally aired on the Tracey Ullman show in 1987 before the Simpsons even had their own show. The birth of the Simpsons was here. The plot is: Marge and Homer try to put their kids to sleep because it's their bedtime and they manage to somehow scare everyone each kid right before they turn off the light so right when Marge and Homer try to go to bed the kids start freaking out.

One of my favorite TV shows of all time.
14 April 2021
This show is one of my all time favorites. It is funny when it wants to be without trying too hard, it is emotional when it wants to be without trying too hard and it is romantic when it wants to be without trying too hard. This show is classic and should always be remembered. It is way more developed than the U. K version and in my opinion the characters are way better.

Michael- The boss who really cares about his co-workers and wants to do the right thing but comes across as awkward. Also a person who wants to be liked so he tells jokes but none of his co-workers seem to like spending time with him because they just want to get work done. (They deep down do care though even if they do not show it) Dwight- Wants to be the boss so therefore kisses Michael's butt so when Michael leaves he will become manager. Also is a farmer who likes farming.

Pam- The receptionist who likes Jim and likes to mess with Dwight because his reactions are funny.

Jim- A salesman who likes Pam and who is sarcastic and also likes to prank and mess with Dwight.

Ryan- A younger techy guy who is smart but just doesn't put the work in. Also has an on again-off again relationship with Kelly (another in the office).

When the U.S version really became the U.S version.
14 April 2021
Throughout the first season of the show, it was desperately trying to copy the UK version when it came to the way characters acted (you could see some early Pam, Jim and Dwight scenes in season 1 where their personalities were somewhat defined) but this was the official change. You can really see the characters distance themselves from their British counterparts starting in this episode. Michael really changed starting here. He went from the cocky boss to someone who really cares about his co-workers and that change is evident starting here. The episode itself is one of my favorites, a lot of jokes and awkwardness (The good kind) and you also get some Jim and Pam scenes in here where it is clear they should be together. This is definitely a classic episode.

Better episode than the pilot of the U.S version
14 April 2021
Let me start by saying that I enjoy the U. S version much better but as far as specific episodes go, this pilot is better.

This episode is better then the pilot of the U. S Office. I disliked the pilot of the U. S version to an extent because it was a carbon copy of this episode, you have to give this show props for originality and not copying other shows. Another reason why this episode is better than the U. S pilot is because everyone in the U. S version (Particularly Michael Scott) was copying their British counterparts and in this one the characters are original since this one came first. When Michael Scott was cocky and mean spirited to others, it felt wrong because of what we get later on, but in this series the dark tone is part of it. When David Brent is Cocky and mean spirited, it does not make him unlikeable like it did to Michael, it makes him David Brent. It is who he is. Although I still can not say the episode is perfect, the story is lacking, there was basically no story in the pilot of the U. S version and since that episode copied this one, there is not a lot of story here either.

This was weird
14 April 2021
I found this episode very weird because this is a carbon copy of the pilot for the British version and everyone is trying to copy the British versions of their characters. So Michael Scott in this episode comes off as cocky and mean spirited towards others in the office and it makes him unlikeable which is odd because of his personality in later seasons. (He is my favorite character in the show) Also the story in this episode is lacking, there is basically no story. I still gave it 5 stars because of other characters like Jim, Pam, and Dwight which already have their personalities defined and they are already likeable and make the episode watchable.
