Mystery Hunters (2002)
Surprised no on else reviewed this amazing show.
Well when I was young I found this show and watched it with my mom. It was creepy beyond anything I had ever seen and a major reason I got into creepy movies and shows like session 9 and A Haunting. It also had its lighter moments with doubting Dave, who would explain things scientifically, but with an open mind. Most of the episodes ended with open questions about what really happened and presented all of the angles of said mystery. If any of the cast happen to read this (Doubt) I would like to thank them for an amazing tv show that always had me glued to the tv with unnerving curiosity. Also the music was very well done.
Monster House (2006)
I can't get enough
Honestly when I went to see this in theaters as a kid I had no idea just how much I would love this movie. Like it has a fantastic cast, a great story, satisfying animation (I'm older I'm not picky with animation, hell im happy with the movie Spawn and that was rough). I watch this movie at least 2 times a year (thank you netflix) its so quotable and funny. It's also pretty freaky still after all these years, i still find myself leaning in at critical parts in the movie. This was probably why i love stranger things so much. You may not like this movie if you didn't grow up with it, but it will be one of my favorites till I die.
I Am the Pretty Thing That Lives in the House (2016)
Don't waste your time
Don't waste your time. My fiancée and I watched this. She fell asleep and I, who rather likes artsy movies ( ex: I love "I'm thinking of ending things"), stayed up and was glued, watching for clues and ques. An hour in I'm leaning back watching for any signs of a story or slightly interesting details. The ghost shows up at the rear end of the movie (which is what this movie was, a rear end). My fiancée woke up and asked " did anything happen yet?" and I said the truth "no". Anyone who give this a "must see" kind of review either lost money on the project or is yanking your chain. There is no redeeming qualities about this movie and i feel sorry for any actor who had to be a part of it.
