Paradise Beach (2019)
Quite possibly the worst movie ever on Netflix
One of the worst movies I have ever seen.
The plot is atrocious. A man gets out of jail. He rejoins his mates . they've lost all their money from the bank robbery he went to jail for. they're trying to get their business back on their feet and need to get there female dancers back from a rival bar owner. A gang war breaks out between the two groups. Fighting over the bargirls. That's about it.
Why is it awful? Aside from horrible acting (seriously this is the worst acting I've ever seen) It's the plot . If you've ever been to a tourist hotspot , specifically Patong in Phuket, there are hundreds of bar girls everywhere.
Watch this movie if you want a good laugh at something pathetic
Once Upon a Time in... Hollywood (2019)
Excessively long until they arrive at Ranch
There were two story lines basically . A) the life of movie star Rick Dalton on set B) Brad Pitt after he picks up the hitch hiker. Then a climax. After watching this film, storyline a is way way way too long. Almost 2 hours. It's a unique film as it potrays life on a movie set I suppose but I didn't fancy watching Leonardo DiCaprio " as an actor acting as an actor "...for two hours . Only once Brad Pitt arrives at the Ranch is when things really start to become intriguing. Looking back on the film now, the first part did not have to be that long. The only thing that connects the climax to story line A is that the characters are the same. Nothing that happened Rick Dalton shooting scenes (story line A) had anything to do with the ending of the movie really.
Wounds (2019)
Not sure what I've just watched
Save yourself the time. Take everyone's advice that reviewed this as 1 star. I thought the ending would provide a clear explanation but as the film got closer to the end->20 minutes left, 15 minutes left..etc.. I realized the plot was absolutely horrible and the ending left me scratching my head.
The I-Land (2019)
Don't waste your time.
Initial thoughts- Rip of Lost and even the Beach where the man gets bitten by a shark.
THe plot is just absolutely ridiculous and one that is hard to like. I mean, people and objects just appear out of nowhere?
In EP 3. The main character gets removed from the the "experiment" , gets manhandled and sent back into the experiment.
I stopped after episode 3. Once it was revealed that this was an experiment for people who have committed crimes they don't remember, my interested faded so fast.
