Somebody Somewhere (2022)
I could watch this all day
Jeff Hiller is an absolute delight and after this, I am going to watch him in everything he's done. The relationship between Joel and Sam is so tender and funny and real and the friendship that everyone wants to have. The transition between season one and two was a bit under explained and I had to do some googling to make sure I hadn't missed something, but the plot had to change for circumstantial reasons. Season two is equally hilarious and quietly moving. The acting is so good and natural and I sincerely hope that there are enough people watching this for it to be renewed for Season 3. Give it a go!!
Workin' Moms (2017)
If only they quit when they were ahead
Season's one to three were pretty funny, but it gets so much worse as time goes on. Season 6 is a fiasco. Maybe the point is to show that having it all is not possible, but it seems a shame to have every main character unravel and prove to have despicable personalities with no redeeming qualities whatsover. It's hard to care about what happens to any of them. Weird, creepy story lines, totally implausible plot twists and horrible content. If only they quit while they were ahead. I heard there's going to be a season 7, so, hopefully, they can turn it back around or decide to spend the money on something funnier.
Radium Girls (2018)
Acting is so bad it's a farce
The acting is so bad it's almost comedic. This is an important topic but it's so badly presented that it's hard to care about it. It's weirdly flat and melodramatic at the same time.
Hunderby (2012)
Astoundingly racist rubbish.
This show is painful to watch. I persisted with it as long as I could but it is really appalling. The racism here is not clever or ironic. It is simply disgusting.
