Stano (2019)
Really under appreciated
I accidentally ran onto this film and I can't thank enough that I did. I only watched it to get me to go to sleep but I ended up watching the whole movie wide awake and inspired by everyone's performance despite having a common theme. Also I couldn't care less about what other critics say about this film. Yeah the story cliche but it has a lot of heart into it. Joe Manganiello gives out a performance of a lifetime despite not being on a role he's used to be seen and despite having so much tasks and side stories he still manages to balance all of it through his shoulders. Good film. I really do recommend it.
Monsters and Men (2018)
Too light and predictable
I really wanted to like this movie because of its cinematography and ofcourse the message sorrounding the film, but it becomes so cheesy and predictable and you end up feeling like watching a mediocre movie that gives the same message as other films like it. It tries its best to have a "Moonlight" like pattern but consists of different stories, which is hard to sympathize to it since like I said, the predictability starts to kick in. They put more effort into making the movie look good, which ofcourse they succeeded, rather than sending an impactful message towards racism and equality, makes it very unforgettable.

JGL carried the movie
Joseph really shine from the film with little stuffs he can deal with. Glad to see him back to acting with this film since Snowden. The last 30 minutes of the film was overstretched and didn't know how to end the film itself. I just know for a fact that without JGL the movie would fall flat.
