Liquid News (2000–2004)
Daily Entertainment And Television show, Hosted by The Onion-headed Christopher Price.
15 February 2002
This daily showbiz chat show includes features on Film, music, television, showbiz, and any other glamorous events, and award ceremonies. The show also has guests interviewed by the presenter Christopher Price. However his interviewing technique includes chatting up the guests, dropping in stupid puns and one-liners, which is not needed from some chubby-cheeked, smug presenter. Overall average, if you can bare listening to the host for more than 2 minutes, and watch the annoying graphics before each segment. Liquid News, more like plain old Sloppy Gossip.

Late Night Poker (1999–2008)
Cash Me In
11 February 2002
Any fan of Poker is sure to enjoy this program. The game is Texas Hold'em poker, and the table consists of 8 professional poker players. The viewer gets to see all the action, with the player's hand shown by concealed table cameras. The winner of each show goes to the Late Night Poker final, with all the runners up trying again for the final place at the Final's table.

With high stakes, tempers sometimes fray, and classic moments have included a French player nearly throwing his chips at the dealer, and the ice-cool devilfish winning the 2000 final. All in all good fun, and don't forget to cash me in.

Hot Boyz (2000 Video)
5/10
Hot Boyz, more like Cold Turkey.
5 February 2002
This flick has the potential of a classic with Gary Busey and Snoop Dogg, but I ended up wondering why was the film made. The script is terrible, and characters don't develop, they only have one emotion or goal, with the lead character Kool (Vyshonne Miller) becoming hell-bent on revenge for the death of his girlfriend, ITS HEART BREAKING STUFF.

However it's worth watching just to see Busey's double take when a prostitute undresses in front of him (Plus it has nothing to do with the plot). Oh and I was in hysterics when MC Hammer look-alike Saint fell into the sea, what a stunner. Busey should know better than make this tat.

Hawaii-Five-OOOOOOHHHHHHHH
4 February 2002
From the director of Hawaii-Five-0, Gordon Hessler directs this very underrated Thriller. With a star cast of Cushing, Lee and Price, and some rather wooden acting from Alfred Marks as the non-emotional Supt. Bellaver, this film runs as fast as Hawaii-Five-0, with some excellent car chases around England. However Hessler's use of tension is not used to full effect, and the German Nazi sub-plot (with hilarious logo) seems both distant and pointless, and used only as a dig at dictatorship regimes.

Also the music at times seems farcical, with Jazzy-sixty bands playing when the serial killer is attacking his victim. With the serial killers actions of out-running and powering the police, reactions of "he's quite strong" and "Oh he's torn his hand off" seem like tongue-in-cheek, or if not a terrible script.

All in all, this movie is a cross between Hawaii-Five-0, Frankenstein, and Hitchcock's Frenzy, and although it's well worth a watch, the styles don't combine well to give a scary thriller. The viewer is left a little lost with all the scene changing and Christopher Lee's role could have been expanded upon. The viewer should Scream and Scream Again and again and again at the poor direction the movie takes, nice try, but he should have tried and tried again to make it at least scary!!

Roller Coaster ride of FEAR
27 January 2002
Long time dead sticks to all the clichés of America Teen horror films, however it manages to do so with a lot more class. The story is more dark than funny, with some truly heart-jumping moments. It's set in London, in abandoned warehouses, scrap-yards, and dingy student apartments. The main plot involves a group of students deciding to do a ouiji board, but the consequences leads to a fire-demon monster being released into the world. The first half of the film is good and moves at a fair pace, with classic suspenseful moments. The fast movement in camera shot helps to make the viewer feel like being in this roller coaster ride of FEAR, and with one of the teens being possessed by the demon, it keeps you guessing, and a dark secret from one of the students causes more angst.

However as soon as it is revealed the film dies out to a predictable end. This film has been done before, but I'm sure it will be a success if only to see the scariest sets imaginable and the classic light bulb smashing scene!
