Great movie
3 October 2007
This movie delivers. Instead of creating a typical shoot 'em up with bullet-proof heroes and despicable villains, corny one-liners, and biased viewpoints this movie was an excellent example of what a movie should be about.

The actors did a great job, none went over the top, and they were very believable. The actors portraying the Saudis were perfect, although I've never met any in person. They showed how they behaved in a tough manner with their job, but were tender at home.

Even when their was a lull in the action, it didn't get boring. I really enjoyed how the movie attempted to show both sides of the story. It's not easy to walk in another's shoes and understand their culture (and I'm from NYC), but if you try, you become a better person.

The soundtrack with the guitar was perfect.

The only thing I think they should improve on is this new crazy Blair Witch style cinematography which makes you dizzy (during certain scenes).

One of the best movies of the year, as long as you aren't expecting non-stop action and as long as you're not a bigot.

Excellent

Wonderful movie that shows the lengths many poor people must go through to eke out a living. It shows the strong bond of family, strong bond of husband and wife.

The acting and cinematography was so well, I felt like I was along with them for the ride.

The movie opens up a world many of us never see- the everyday struggle of poverty, especially with family. What would you do to feed your family? I like the way the movie shows the conflict between pride and eating.

I applaud the excellent story telling done by the director, writer, and producer.
