I was expecting a lot more action with lots of chase scenes of the main character hunting Bruce Willis down. Instead, the movie contained very little intense action, and relied instead on character development. It was still good, though.

Great start, but started to go downhill

I loved the first season of this show: the action, the acting, everything was great. I'd give season 1 a 9/10. But then when season 2 began the plots became more and more ridiculous and the episodes were getting repetitive. I've decided to stop watching and move on to another show worth more of my time.
Missing
(2012)
Not as good as I expected

Based on the trailer for the show, I thought that I would ultimately end up buying the entire season after watching the pilot episode. However, it was only mediocre at best. I will not be finishing the season, as it is not a good enough show to waste 20 dollars on.
The Cold Light of Day
(2012)
2 stars to this movie because the actors tried...

I shut this movie off after forty minutes. The plot was okay, but the script was absolutely horrible. It could have been written way better. I can't believe I actually wasted ten dollars on such a terrible movie as this one.
White House Down
(2013)
Very entertaining movie, but unrealistic

Warning: Spoilers
This movie was enjoyable, just unrealistic. How are we supposed to believe that terrorists take over the white house so easily? And how would Martin be given a job of secret service when he was going to betray the president?

I got only forty minutes into the movie before turning it off. I couldn't take the bad acting, the lame action, not to mention the constant sexual jokes that weren't even funny. I was hoping since Mark Dacascos and Danny Trejo were in the movie, it might just be ok, and the trailer honestly didn't look too bad...well, I found out that you can't always trust movie trailers, especially with low budget production movies such as this one.
Showdown in Manila
(2016)
Honestly it wasn't that bad and it had some great action scenes...

Ok. The middle part of this movie was terrible. I even considered turning the movie off. But aside from all of that, the beginning and the end (the first 25 minutes and the last 30 minutes) were pretty good. Those scenes were not too boring, included lots of action, and the acting wasn't that bad. A lot of the time. Keep in mind that I said a lot of the time. Because there was one actor (the main actor in the movie, Alexander Nevsky) who was absolutely horrible. He has only been in a few films ever, does not even speak good English (he has a Russian accent so it is occasionally difficult to understand what he is saying), and simply looks bored when killing the bad guys. On the plus side, he is not seen much in the action scenes, only moreso in the middle of the movie. To conclude, I think this film should be watched at least once, as some parts of it were very enjoyable, and at the end, the fifteen minute long fight scene with guns and explosions is one that I just can't stop watching.
