Just finished season 8 thinking it was the last season, unfortunately it was not. Sounds as though most people agree on one point, Spader is great, Boone is terrible. As she was the first actress picked for the series my guess she is related, knows people or has some dirt on someone at Davis productions. You'd think after 8 seasons she would have improved but in my opinion has done just the opposite. Always looks great in every scene without a hair out of place.
Unrealistic situations, totally unbelievable scenarios and paints the FBI looking like a bunch of bumbling idiots which they are not. Criminal Minds has a much more believable portrayal of FBI tactics than this show. Bad writers, bad acting put this show low on my scale. Check out Mindhunters or Criminal Minds, much better acting and more realistic.
They should skip season 9 and make a 2 hour movie wrapping the series up by showing that Spader was actually working for top American officials at the CIA and sharing intel with his counterpart in Russia keeping the world safe from doom.
