She-Hulk: Attorney at Law (2022)

This has all the right ingredients but...

It's just been dragged out for too long.

I really wanted to enjoy this, I am a huge fan of orphan black and I was hoping for the same standard of show and more of a conflict between the two personas.

But something's not quite right about the show and for me, it's the amount of episodes that Disney demand. To be honest, it could have been an origin episode, 2-3 mastering the powers while introducing big bad and then 1-2 episodes resolving it while segwaying into other shows and films and £ She-hulk could have been the TV shows version of iron man and built a second MCU for the streaming service.

I've just got bored with the filler stuff, seriously a shapeshifting elf causing mischief pretending to be a music artist I had to Google, come on Disney you are better than this. I hope they give Tatiana another chance to carry her own show as she has the acting chops to do it and she doesn't need cameos from established MCU characters to support her.

This was a good film, with some nice moments which made you feel good.

I gave it 7 because every film/TV show at the moment is either just depressing/graphic or has to have an ironic bitter sweet ending for the sake of being "edgy" or "ground breaking".

This film was different because it dropped the need to avoid any cliche's and instead steer into them and the result is a film you can sit and watch, while laughing at a few digs at 90's boy band groups, before walking away feeling a little happier as a result.

Netflix produced another gem here and I applaud them for using the UK as the backdrop of this story, In particular London's vibrant music culture which is something that is often overlooked.

Wait, huh, how, yes! Oh...my...WHAT, I need to lie down.

I know that people weren't receptive to the first couple of episodes but they did serve a purpose to the wider narrative and it has paid dividends in today's episode.

The most recent episode now weaves the story of inside and outside of westview and we get to see more of a peak into what is actually going on with the story and in typical MCU fashion it leaves you desperate to see the next installment and also what is going to happen to Wanda, Vision and the rest of westview.

Worth the wait

I don't know about anyone else, but I felt the same confusion as the characters at the start of the episode, superb storytelling once again!

So many call backs to the film's in this episode, some characters back stories are revealed and the acting is amazing. That look vision gives at the end, wow. I am so excited for the next few episodes.
