Rogue (2020)
B movie that ALMOST reaches B+
I wanted to like this movie, I really did. "Toe Thumbs" managed to pull off somewhat of a decent role but there were just too many technical issues which were glaringly obvious. If you're going to make an action movie, ensure that you have enough blank ammunition to make the firefights believable. Even the basic "urban commando" knows that when you pull the trigger, the rifle is supposed to operate like a rifle. There were entire action sequences where there wasn't one empty shell casing ejected. Heck, most of the firearms appeared to not discharge a round at all, despite their animated muzzle flashes. And I'm guessing the budget for CGI was spent entirely on the firefights as the lion was....well.....just bad. My wife and I sat through the movie, we did, but it was with raised eyebrow most of the time. The only redeeming quality of this movie was SOME of the acting from the few who were trying. It was definitely a low-budget movie COULD have reached a higher potential but they just ran out of money.

This movie is why you should wait for more reviews...
This movie is bad, I mean bad. It does a disservice to "B" movies by putting itself in the same camp. The acting was horrible, the "effects" were beyond ridiculous, and this is a perfect example of why you should never believe the first reviews out for a new film (and I hesitate to call it a film). Stay away from this stinker, and the folks who rated it any higher than a 2, you need to be heavily medicated. Bad.....just bad.
