Joey (2004)
Cringe as always.
This show is for those who are fans of "joey". You won't get an honest review from his fan club because their bias solely lies for their fondness *cough* obsession for a character they became fixated on when matt le blanc portrayed " joey" on friends. Possibly the most ridiculously stupid one dimensional character ever created for a sitcom. Don't tell " joeys" fan base this since most were head over heels for him despite being overated in the looks department.
Overall this sitcom exposed matt leblanc as a poor actor with very little range and it became apparent matt le blanc was fully aware of this aswell.
Return to Paradise (1953)
Just off topic
Gary Cooper was a 51 y.o man filming return to paradise. I had to google his bio at the beginning of the movie since i couldn't get past how elderly and frail he looked in this movie. I was so consumed by this that I couldn't watch and enjoy the movie since my focus was elsewhere.
Since I need to write more characters o will just ramble off with whatever I can. I can't believe I have to write a long sordid review just to make a point. This is absurd, like seriously why. Anyways if you really like Gary Cooper perhaps this movie might not be exactly ground breaking or perhaps it is I don't know since I was distracted like I said.
Oh I have enough characters.
Bye.
Tomb Raider (2018)
Stopped watching after 5 mins.
Ok after the opening credit, we are immediately shown a very thin yet sculptured (why?) Lara in the ring training and in the middle of a fight Noticed that her breasts were almost non existence and that just ruined it for me. I thought perhaps maybe they grow as the movie went on since we know Lara is not Lara without her amazing curves and breasts, so i remained watching until we see her go to work. Alas she works for indians, delivering meals. The scene alluded to perhaps the owners son having an interest in Lara... that's when I turned it off! Sorry but I just saw where the direction this movie was heading, with its woke narrative, virtue signalling garbage. Why do they always have to destroy everything!!!!
Big Brother Canada (2013)
This ain't big brother! Sorry Canada.
What in the frack is this version of big brother? Woke sheep contestants with passive aggressive game play. No suprises since it's canadian. The whole season felt like a scripted game show. The HOH and veto way of taking out players leaves no room for genuine game play compared to other international versions. Not having a big brother voice over to control and intimidate players in the game ruins it completely. No offence but Canadians are strange. BTW can you imagine if a white person allowed himself to control the outcome of the final winners of BB 2021. Disgusting racism double standards.
Gravity (2013)
All hype!
This sums up what I felt about this movie. Clooney and bullock get stranded in space... that is it!! I couldn't get it past my head that they were playing characters. Most bizzare viewing experience I have ever had watching a movie. Amazing how many people fell for the hype.
The Simpsons: Bart vs. Itchy & Scratchy (2019)
woke joke!
The irony when the Simpson's creators embrace wokeness, when it is the very thing that has ruined this once iconic sitcom into a miserable joke in itself! I stopped watching long ago but caught this episode last night just for old times sake. This episode only reinforced why I stopped watching! Lisa is still an angry spiteful liberalist and Bart has become the poster child for beta male! I just hope Groening finally puts this pathetic show to rest. It's dead!
I, Tonya (2017)
Liberalist victim garbage
If this movie was an analogy of the current political climate in the states and how the media and big tech want to manipulate the narrative, Biden and the dems would be Tonya and Nancy Kerrigan would be trump. I cannot believe this production about the Tonya/ Kerrigan incident wants to portray Tonya as the victim and everyone(the public) who sought out to punish her with guilt should hang their head with shame. What we learnt from this movie is that Kerrigan was just an unfortunate victim because of tonyas miserable life. Typical victim mentality courtesy of liberalist thinking. This whole mockumentary or what ever it was created its own narrative and manipulation of facts just to fit in with the progressive left mentality. It guilts fools to excuse the trauma and suffering the protagonist creates on others because they had a bad day . like wtf!
Restaurant: Impossible (2011)
Mixed feelings
Ok let me say the concept of this show is appealing as we all want the underdog to succeed. The formula of the show is a carbon copy of gordon ramsey's kitchen nightmares but obviously tapping into a market that might find ramsey too aggressive or abrasive!! But I would have to say Irvine gives ramsey a run for his money. If anything Irvine has an uglier ego and comes across as a drill sergeant who shouts at the top his voice to intimidate and control others. Even his entourage who help with the makeovers cop unessersary abuse despite having to do the practical work in one day!
His approach needs to be taken down a notch.
He might be a big brawny muscle dude but unfortunately he comes from the 'prawn' variety.
What can make him most unappealing is his constant hypocritic judgments of others, calling them arrogant, rude or egotistical. Does he not watch the show and see his behaviour is just that! I get it he is helping others but he callously makes them feel they deserve the treatment because they called for his help. Doesn't help that he takes all the credit for the end results from others, such as the designers and fitters who slave away to create a new resturaunt. Pretty sure he takes no responsibility for majority of the restaurants that fail.
At the end of the day, he majoritily of the time has not achieved success and what he has set out to do, since many restaurants have failed within a year.
Clearly his success is inflating his own ego every episode and not being fired for the failed resturaunts.
Made in Chelsea (2011)
I'd rather watch geordie shore!
Yes I said it! Watching a big cast of monotone pretentious clowns, makes geordie shore seem more relevant. Despite GS being unapologetic trashy, it is far more entertaining and the stars have personality and character. Pretty sure the cast of MIC pay for the production to keep it on air. To have it been on TV for so long, they definetley have the money to do so! I wouldn't be suprised if they watch the series on repeat to admire themselves...
