A Pleasant suprise with gore and comedy
12 September 2023
First off Vince Vaughn and Kathryn Newton are great and both put on very good performance. At first i was weary because of all those body switching movies before this one are all very similar, but this flick works in an unsuspecting way as it showcases Vaughn and Newtons acting skills. Vaughn does a great job with high pitched screams and comedy appeal of realizing he is now a girl in mans body, and if your a Supernatural fan and recognize Newton(aka Millie) as Claire Novak it works because she kinda becomes the bad ass killing machine she portrayed in Supernatural which is why i really liked her character. Overall it was a pleasant suprise that kept me entertained the whole movie long.

Not as good as the 1st, but still action packed
23 December 2021
I dont know why people hate this one so much compared to the 1st, its only natural it is going to be a little more out there cuz it wants to distinguish itself from the previous movie. Statham still delivers a great performance, Amy smart does great and the supporting cast and small cameos is what i think makes it a well made watchable movie.

Supernatural intrigues and gets the most out of a little known cast
26 January 2020
Supernatural is one of those shows that can just fall into your lap and end up becoming a favorite series to watch and binge. Thats exactly what happened to me one day while i was browsing Direct tvs terrible and extremely repetative lineups when for really no reason i stopped on this show called Supernatural on TNT playing the re-runs. It did not take long to intrigue and before i knew it, I was going through seasons like crazy, like i said, falls into your lap like a cute puppy! So basically Supernatural brings the paranormal, folklore, and urban legends all together in one show and to real life, and the only protectors of innocents are flesh and blood humans called "Hunters". No one knows for sure how many hunters their really are, but we do learn that the number of demons heavilly outnumber hunters, and the hunters numbers continue to be fewer and fewer with every death by the demon army. Thus enter our hunter heroes of the show, the Winchesters. Brothers Sam and Dean were expertly trained by their former marine dad, John Winchester played by Jeffrey Dean Morgan. The brothers personallities could not be more different, Dean the oldest is mostly emotionless when it comes to killing members of the occult seeing it as his job and duty, Sam on the otherhand is more rational and tries harder to save those who want to change and not be evil anymore this results in the brothers butting heads often but we soon learn their greatest weakness is the extreme brotherly love they have for eachother. *My last note: I dont normally fall for a show so quickly but Supernatural has quickly become one of my favorites and i pondered why that is. My conclusion, with all due respect to the entire cast(especially Jensen and Padelcki) is i feel the show gets great acting performances from these actors that are not greatly known. Jensen and Padelcki are very believable and have great range from seriousness to comediac relief and of course there is Bobby(Jim Beaver) who i think does a spectacular job of acting in this show and is like the boys 2nd father; thanks for reading and hope you liked the review!

Supernatural: Lazarus Rising (2008)
Season 4, Episode 1
9/10
John 11:11- Like Lazarus, Dean rises from the dead!
26 January 2020
Warning: Spoilers
Supernatural goes into season 4 territory and like any show that surpasses 2 or more seasons, I believe it is more important than ever to introduce a hook, and boy did the writers do just that. Obviously it cant be Supernatural without Dean Winchester and the episode starts with Dean clawing his way out of a dirty grave. Being buried for over 4 months time, he slowly makes his way to an abandoned gas station and chugs water like he just got out of hell, well lets face it he did! Next a supersonic like sound wave shatters everything in site leaving dean a bit bloody from window fragments, which later we find out it was the angel Castiel trying to speak with dean in his real voice! The rest of the episode focuses on emotional reunions with Bobby and brother Sam, in comediac moments of disbelief that dean is back and both throwing punches at poor resurected dean, like he hasnt suffered enough right? Overall its a good episode, some scenes do draw on a bit and get a tad boring, but the introduction of angels and gods existance is what i think is still keeping the show fresh and exciting!

Entertaining joke on how holywood works
25 January 2020
The beginning of the episode starts with a subtle joke on sam as he and dean are riding on the the slow tour kart through holywood and the driver mentions here is the set of gilmore girls and if you look close you may see a star of the show. Sam is shown looking kinda uncomfortable and him and dean depart the tour for their real reason for being here stopping multiple poltergeists on set. This episodes is good and entertaining and like the beginning of the episode, has many subtle jokes about holywood the stars of the show and even the writers, i highly recommend this episode
