SEAL Team VI (2008)

Just God Awful

I've seen many terrible movies, but this one ranks there with them. I'm guessing this is a real dishonor to our Navy Seals. Getting past the story, the acting and filming was also terrible. I did give it a 2 rating out of respect for those who served. I really wished this movie was better because few highlight Desert Shield. I had to find this military movie on some off-the-wall streaming channel. I watched the entire movie but looking back I wished I had given up on it early. Kept thinking it would improve. I cannot believe some of the story line in this movie, but I imagine it was for the entertainment value.

The Perfect Weapon (2016)

Terrible. Just terrible

This is a class B movie that is awful. The acting is awful. The action scenes are the only thing that kept me watching and they were terrible. I have seen many a movie that should have never been made or released. This is another of those movies. Who has the money to throw away and finance this junk. The plot stinks. The actors need help. I almost quit watching but my curiosity of how bad this movie could be took over. Most days I would have given up on it. Not much here and anyone who watches this movie will be disappointed. How many times can you kill or torture this guy? It's one of those Segal movies that just doesn't belong on TV or anywhere else.

The Virtuoso (2021)

Slow, yet semi-thrilling.

I would have given this movie a 1, but the dog forced me to give it a 2. It really was very dry and dull acting and the plot was just not what it could have been. I never was entertained just semi-thrilled! The best line in the movie was at the very end. Nice to see Anthony Hopkins still active and in the movies. But he certainly could not do anything to salvage this movie. It was confusing at times trying to figure everything and everyone out, but I tried not to give up. You'll do best if you choose to watch this movie by keeping an open mind and not making your mind up too quickly. Thank goodness for the dog!

Blackout (VI) (2022)

OMG - terrible

The only really good scene was the mohawk guy in the hospital kitchen. A typical but lengthy fight scene. The early part, being drugged up, yet still able to fight - what a joke. Good thing I didn't have to pay to see this movie. And Nick Nolte! I thought he was dead. He has passed his acting days. Low budget movie about the drug cartel and nothing more. "Who am I"? DEA or not? And how about the Australian actress in her fight scene? Really her or a stunt double? I did manage to stick with the entire movie but it was difficult. Didn't really require much in the way of finding locations from which to shoot either. How dull!!

The Desperate Hour (2021)

Great Story But That's It

Too much jogging. Too much garbled talk. Too much not happening. The concept is good and had several ways to go. Really a waste of 90 minutes looking back. I was even convinced that Noah was the shooter. I was sure he was dead. Sometimes I wished I was a screenwriter. Could have been so much better.

Just when you expect every move the opposite occurs at the end, yet still provides excitement. Almost the movie you would watch again. Pretty good action scenes. Not just run-of-the-mill movie you might expect.

One of the worst series I've ever seen. Most of the acting is average at best. The story is back and forth and even dull at times. Sorry I wasted time watching this 8 part series.

This is by far one of the worst movies I've ever seen. Bad acting and terrible script. OMG. I can't believe I watched the whole thing. Not one positive thing to say other than the title forced me to watch it.

A Great Mini-series

By far, one of the best mini-series I've watched in a long time. Even though you may know early-on how it will end, it does not detract from the show. There are several side stories throughout, but sll have meaning. Very good and worth watching.

I can't imagine anyone liking this attempt at providing entertainment unless you're a miner. Hardly anything worth watching here. No story. No hidden meanings. And really no acting. What a waste of time.

The suspense is minimal until the very end and yet it is predictable. Would not suggest this movie to anyone. Low budget and very slow developing. A real waste of time for anyone wanting to watch a good thriller.

The Forgotten Battle (2020)

One of the Best WW II Movies

An untold story that encompasses several stories of which the doesn't always have happy endings. Although we know how WWII turns out, this one small time period, in one small area of Europe, gives us a really good look at the war. Will watch this movie again and again!

It may have been intended to portray those early days of Hollywood, but it certainly did not hold my attention after just 2 episodes. Hardly what I envisioned about this mini series. Even the acting was without merit.
