The best christmas episode ever!
24 December 2021
This is the best christmas episode I've ever seen. Although it's the show's only christmas-themed episode, it's definitely worth it.

I very much like the two plot lines we get in this episode. Without spoiling anything, Dennis and Dee tries to execute a replica of a very famous christmas movie with Frank, which leads into a ton of memorable scenes and laughs. What I like even more, is Mac and Charlie's story where they find out dark things about their pasts. Charlie's plotline is probably even my favorite plotline of the whole show. At least one of them. That plotline leads to a lot of dark humour, and a ton of blood.

This episode is basically a parody on (or at least compared to) some classic christmas movies, like Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer, Bad Santa, A Christmas Carol, White Christmas and more. Some people mah have a tradition where they watch Christmas movies like Elf, Home Alone, Love Actually, The Holiday or/and National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation (amongst others) every christmas, but to me, it's Always Sunny.

This is the best christmas episode I have seen in my life, and it'll always remain my favorite for the next 1000 years.

The best episode in any comedy show ever.
11 September 2021
There's no doubt that this is the best episode of the whole show. I highly doubt that any upcoming IASIP episode will ever top this one. This isn't just the best comedy show episode ever. This is the best tv episode I've ever seen.

I especially love that this episode has Charlie, the clearly dumbest in the gang, on his best performance ever. The long shot is a technique they should use more often. We all know that this works. Now, make a whole season of it.

There's not much to say about this episode, only that I fricking love it. Nothing is wrong with this episode. If it says anything about how much I love it, I give it 100/10 stars.

Cloverfield (2008)
8/10
A thrilling and intense nightmare.
22 March 2021
Cloverfield is a very special and intense nightmare on film. It's an action horror movie with smart decisions.

The whole movie is filmed on a video camera by T.J. Miller, and it sure causes sickness after a while. It's not first time it's done. It was done in the 1999 horror movie The Blair Witch Project, and later in the action superhero movie Chronicle in 2012. Especially the last one is a simple comparison to Cloverfield of several reasons. I sometimes mixes them with each other, cause they look pretty alike, but it's easy to see the difference.

It's a very exciting movie, and it takes some smart and clever decisions, and it's a thrill to be on this journey. Much of the movie is pretty good. It's kind of a horror movie, but it never gets too scary. That's actually a good thing for me, cause I usually don't like scary movies. I think some movies are scary, even though others might not think that. It depends on what you think is scary. This movie was not that scary to me. It had some creepy moments, but that was it. Besides from that, this movie didn't make me wanna look away, and it was not as scary as I thought it would be.

But there's no doubt that the movie is good. It's just clever written, and I love that this movie exist. The movie only lasts for 1 hour and 20 minutes, and that's a perfect length for this movie. The only thing I don't like in this movie is that it causes sickness. I really considered to turn it off a little bit, but I made it all the way through the movie. So I'm glad the movie isn't longer. I also watched the "sequel" 10 Cloverfield Lane the day after. And to be honest, that movie is almost better. I suggest you go and check out both of the movies. But you can skip The Cloverfield Paradox. That's what I did.

Overrated, but funny.
20 March 2021
Monty Python And The Holy Grail is often regarded as one of the funniest movies ever made. I won't say I disagree, but honestly, I do.

The first time I watched Monty Python And The Holy Grail, I was like «Nah, Life Of Brian's better». I watched a lot of reaction videos to this movie just to understand what was so funny with this movie, cause I didn't understand everything that was supposed to be funny. I decided to give it another try, and it was much funnier the second time.

It's still no funnier than Life Of Brian (a movie few movies can beat), it's far from one of the funniest ever made, but it is at times hilarious and extremely funny. The movie is pretty old though, but most of the humour isn't. Let me just say that some humour never gets old. Even though they couldn't be made today, they are still very funny. Examples? Blazing Saddles (1974), Airplane! (1980), Hot Shots (1991), other Monty Python movies (Life Of Brian (1979), and The Meaning Of Life (1983)). They are all very funny, though they are old.

Monty Python And The Holy Grail is a comic adventure movie with some memorable scenes. Some of them are the intro, the beginning, the end, something in the middle, but the funniest is probably the knight fight (which is one of the most iconic scenes from the movie). This is a hilarious scene that has been spoofed a lot of times. It is as funny as they say it is, but the movie isn't.

This movie is just amazingly funny, but there is some funnier movies in the world. Just know that this is far from a waste of time, and you will have a good time with it (probably more than me).

Eighth Grade (2018)
7/10
The perks of being a teenager.
18 March 2021
Eighth Grade got me thinking about how the teenagers live nowadays. I was nothing like showed in this movie, I was not that much on social media, I had friends, but I was only with them regarding school. Not so much otherwise. This is a good teen movie that shows the teen culture today.

I tried to name as many high school movies as I could remember when I watched this movie. I haven't seen that many high school movies, not even them on the list, but those I could remember was: Grease, The Perks Of Being A Wallflower, Mean Girls, Superbad, Booksmart, 21 Jump Street (half high school movie), American Pie, Not Another Teen Movie, and there's even one more movie Eight Grade is associated with: The Edge Of Seventeen. Except for the plot, both movies look alike. They're both teen dramedies about a teenager who's struggling with a hard life. Some of the scenes looks very much alike, but I won't spoil them.

Usually, I want to talk about the cast in the movie, but this movie contains almost no actors I had heard of before. This movie is still good. If I had wanted to make a teen movie, it would be something like this. The difference is that I would have changed some of the scenes, or add some new scenes to the movie. I love the beginning of the movie, but when the movie is over, I sat there expecting something else to happen. But teen movies doesn't actually have an end. They just end when it suits them to end.

This is still a good movie. It's not one of the best teen movies I've seen, and it could have been better in several ways. But after all, this is worth a watch.

An amazing roadtrip-dramedy.
18 March 2021
Little Miss Sunshine is a movie I have wanted to watch for a while. And when I finally did, I loved it. This is one of the best dramedies I have ever seen.

The best thing with the movie, is how it can be at times very funny, and at other times very dark and emotional. It's basically a drama with a lot of humour. A dramedy.

I love the cast in this movie. I like both Greg Kinnear and Toni Collette as the parents. Steve Carell is also extremely good. He's the funny guy from The Office and Anchorman, and this role is pretty dramatic. He plays remarkable well (for a comedian). He's also funny in this role, but a lot more dramatic. Alan Arkin plays the funny grandpa who's everything a grandpa should not be. Paul Dano is probably my favorite as the brother who refuses to speak. The main role is played by the amazing Abigail Breslin. This is one of her first main roles, and she is fantastic. I was amazed by seeing the younger Abigail Breslin before Zombieland and Ender's Game.

This is a very good movie. It's one of my favorite movies, and when I think of this movie, I have a strong association with The Way Way Back. They have a lot in common. Both movies depicts the sad part of being a teenager, they both star Toni Collette and Steve Carell (who is even more dramatic), and they're both a dramedy. There you have it. Watch both movies, they're both amazing. As for this, this is a very good movie and a high recommendation.

The Sitter (2011)
5/10
A really unnecessary movie.
16 March 2021
How many stoner comedies have the concept of buying drugs or alcohol and drag it with them all across the city? Let me check: Pineapple Express, The Night Before, Good Boys, Booksmart, and probably the best: Superbad, which also stars Jonah Hill. Therefore, The Sitter seems like a movie that's only made to be made. It means that it's basically all the other movies (although some of them came out after this movie) with a new twist. Jonah Hill's a grown up "babysitter" now, and not the young guy from Superbad, who's afraid of buying alcohol when he's underage.

This movie feels extremely unnecessary. It only has a few funny moments, the rest is lame. It at least tries to be funny at times, but it don't succed that well. Jonah Hill is as funny as he always is, and the others in the movie isn't directly bad. The funniest in the movie, is Sam Rockwell as the drug kingpin who's selling lots of drugs. But the rest of the movie isn't that great. The movie is just completely poor and unsuccessful, and I was bored while watching it. Just watch it if you're not expecting something good.

Charming!
12 March 2021
The Hundred-Foot Journey is actually a movie I watched in 9th grade. The teacher just played the movie, and no one really knew what we were going to watch. I didn't knew which movie it was in the beginning, and then I understood it, cause my mom told me about this movie once, and how she loved it. I had never thought about watching this movie, and I would never want to watch this on my own.

But the movie was quite a surprise. I actually liked the movie a lot, but somethings in the last act ruined a little bit of it. It's not that it was something bad with the movie, but I didn't understand everything that was happening. After reading a little bit about the movie afterwards, I finally understood what the movie was all about. But I forgot this movie very soon, and I just remembered it. That's why I'm writing this review.

I liked a lot the first act. The first half hour is pretty awesome. The movie is funny, entertaining, and overall charming. It has some of the movie's best scenes, and it is a pretty awesome scene.

The next hour went by so fast, I didn't quite follow it. The last half hour is also a little bit entertaining, but as I said, I didn't understand everything.

But this is an entertaining movie. It has some memorable scenes. But it isn't as good as everything else. Every time something funny happened, I looked away. I only got the slow parts of the movie. I miss the time we watched movies like Home Alone, Life Of Brian, and The Nightmare Before Christmas on school. But as a food movie, this is a good movie. Movies, like Ratatouille and Sausage Party, didn't quite live up to the expectations, but neither did this movie. Whatever, I saw this movie without expectations, so it weren't that bad. Food movies ain' quite my type of movie, but if it is yours, then you can enjoy this.

Office Space (1999)
8/10
Makes you want to quit your job.
11 March 2021
A few days ago, I made the review of Super Troopers, where I discussed some cult comedies I like. Well, Office Space is another movie I can add to the list. The movie is funny, brilliant, smart, and a little bit darker than I thought. And I liked it a lot.

I didn't like everything in this movie. Some of the scenes feels a little bit old. Not just the quality, but the way they're made. The movie came out in 1999, and I guess the movie wouldn't have been made today. This is old fashioned humour, but it is still funny. If the movie had been made today, I guess some of the scenes would look cooler, but the movie is still smart and genius in almost everything it does.

I really liked Ron Livingston in the main role, and Jennifer Aniston made a funny role as the waitress who gets together with Ron Livingston. It's not that many famous people in this movie, but they I really liked the most of them. Almost everyone was funny, and made this movie great.

This is definitely a funny and creative movie, and you really should see it. But it's not as good as the other cult comedies on the list.

This was actually pretty funny.
9 March 2021
I've seen a lot of weird cult comedies. Examples? Wayne's World, Napoleon Dynamite, The Big Lebowski etc... Super Troopers is another underrated and hilarious cult comedy which does a lot of things right, and definitely desrves a try.

This is one of the funniest police movies I've seen, and it just hit my sense of humour magically perfect. Not everything in this movie, is funny, but when it is funny, it's very funny. I laughed a while in some scenes. The best scene is probably the opening. It's just hilarious. I've actually watched some of the scenes from this movie before, unaware that it was from this movie. I thought some parts looked familiar.

There is almost no actors I know off in this movie, and the only ones, is Brian Cox (X-Men) and Jim Gaffigan (That '70s Show). The rest is unknown for me, but I actually liked them a lot. Everybody's funny at some point.

If I should compare this movie to another movie, the other movie would be Zoolander. Both movies serves a lot of stupid humour, the characters in both movies is equalky funny, and they both got terrible sequels (which I try to stay away from) a decade later. This movie is a lot more funnier than Zoolander, which I thought was just stupid. This movie is also funny, and I'd rather prefer this movie instead of Ben Stiller's fashion model.

This is a funny comedy I very much enjoyed, and I recommend this if you just want to watch something.

Why Him? (2016)
7/10
Surprisingly funny.
7 March 2021
I wouldn't say Why Him? is surprisingly funny and hilarious, but I heard all the negative things about this movie, and then I watched it. And it was nothing like the critics said. It was at times very funny and entertaining, and I liked the movie a lot. I didn't love it, I thought it was okay, but good enough for a rewatch (which I just did).

James Franco is hilarious in the lead role as the millionaire and playboy who dates the daughter to Walter White, who doesn't want him to marry his daughter. Ouch, the story could have been deeper. But the humour is sometimes brilliant and funny.

I wouldn't say I didn't expect this movie to be funny. Although it got some bad critics, I liked it. A lot. I watched it only because of I like sometimes movies that others hate. Some of those movies is Pixels, Superhero Movie, and EuroTrip. Some pretty funny movies, and I don't understand why people hate them. Other movies with bad critics, like Cats, The Watch, and Mr. Popper's Penguins, I try to stay away from.

There is a funny scene at a party where you've got a lot of famous people who came by the film studio, and thought "I want to be a part of this". Wow?! Adam DeVine and Andrew Rannells is actually pretty funny, but Keegan-Michael Key (in a bigger role) is a major problem with this movie. He makes all the bad scenes, and I don't quite understand why he has to be in this movie. I don't say that he is bad in the role, but he is (no offense btw).

Bryan Cranston is pretty funny as the father of the (upcoming) bride, maybe. But he's not used to comedy, and I would love to see another actor take the role as the human version of Papa Smurf, just a lot more angrier.

But this is afunny movie, and it has its funny moments. And I would not like a sequel to this movie, because it's gonna ruin this movie and send my to the same timeline as all the critics. But this is worth a try, and if you don't like it, I fully understand.

Jack Reacher (2012)
7/10
A good action thriller starring Tom Cruise.
6 March 2021
I wonder how many different names Tom Cruise has had on screen. He's played extremely many characters, and some of them with several names. Doesn' to be a real name, either he has that name or he just takes a name and uses it. He did it in the Mission: Impossible movies, and he did it in Jack Reacher. Jack Reacher is Tom Cruise on his best.

Somethings in this movie, I don't quite understand. And some other things, I don't like. But the movie in general, is good enough for me. It's an accepted action thriller with an interesting plot and good action. Every action movie starring Tom Cruise has good action, and this is not his best action movie. The best action movie I've seen Tom Cruise in, would have to Be Mission: Impossible - Fallout. And no, I haven't seen Top Gun.

I watched this movie for a while ago, and I just rewatched it, and it was better the second time. The first time, I didn't understand the movie, or I fell asleep. But this time I understood more of the movie, and I was wide awake (almost).

I liked the movie, at least enough to recommend it. It's not one of the best movies in the genre, and I would rather prefer Edge Of Tomorrow, or any Mission: Impossible movie (except from 2 and 3 (yeah, I don't like M:I 3)). But I can say I enjoyed the movie, but there is some people who probably enjoys this more than I do. And to them I say: "Good for you!" If you haven't seen this movie, be sure to at least check it out. You may have to watch it twice, but does it matter? Watch the movie, and see for yourself!

Baby Driver (2017)
10/10
This is a real masterpiece.
6 March 2021
Edgar Wright is back in the director chair after big hits like The Cornetto Trilogy and Scott Pilgrim vs. The World. He surprisingly also wrote the screenplay to Ant-Man. It's easy to say that he is one of my favorite directors. And if you read my review of Scott Pilgrim vs. The World (10/10), I said that the movie was everything I wanted out of a movie. Well, Baby Driver surpasses that. Cause Baby Driver is, with no doubt, the best movie I've ever seen.

Everything in this movie is perfect. Nothing, absolutely nothing, is wrong with this movie. It succeeds at absolutely everything. It is a masterpiece from start to finish.

The action is great. Some of the action scenes is better than the others, especially the first and last. The last action scene is the highlight in the movie.

The music is perfect. The way the music combines with the sound effects is just complete gold. This is another thing I would do with a movie, if Edgar Wright had not done it first.

The soundtrack is good. I actually love the soundtrack. It's everything from Queen to Focus to Egyptic Reggae. It's perfect.

The casting is amazing. Ansel Elgort plays Baby with perfection, the boy who likes to listen to music 24/7, he sometimes combine the music with the actions to the others at the team, he doesn't like to talk, he likes to record conversations, and he's traumatized of an accident he had when he was little. Everything, except the last one, sounds exactly like me. He's also fast in his feet, and likes action, and always thinks about others before him. He's a very cool guy. He also falls in love with the waitress from the movie Waitress (a movie I haven't seen or heard of), played by Lily James. And then you have Bonnie and Clyde, played by Eiza Gonzalez and Jon Hamm. The loving couple who tries to protect each other and hurt everyone else. And then you have Jamie Foxx playing Jamie Foxx, a violent team member who isn't quite like the others. Kevin Spacey plays the boss who has faith in Baby, until the end. You'll see what happens. Other roles is played by Flea, Paul Williams, and Jon Bernthal (who probably died).

But then again, nothing wrong with this movie. You have to watch it, and if you think it's bad, I don't want to know. This is a movie on it's absolutely best.

A very underrated comedy with a funny concept.
6 March 2021
The Invention Of Lying is one of the most underrated movies I've ever seen. I've constantly waited to see this movie, and when I saw this movie, I really liked it. It has a funny concept, some funny, but dark humour, and it has a compelling storytelling I really like.

This movie was so much better than I thought it would be. I thought it would be like a "Yeah, I guess that's okay" movie, but it was more like a "Wow, that was really funny" movie. The beginning of the movie isn't quite as compelling as the rest of the movie, and some of the jokes in the movie, is used way too many times, and near the end, I'm beginning to get a little tired of it. But otherwise, it's a really funny movie.

I've never actually liked Ricky Gervais that much, but this movie made me like him a little bit more. It's like Ben Stiller. I never actually liked Ben Stiller. Zoolander was stupid, Starsky & Hutch was boring, Night At The Museum (also starring Ricky Gervais) was okay, Tropic Thunder was actually pretty funny, but I liked him even more in The Secret Life Of Walter Mitty. I haven't seen Ricky Gervais that much, but as the creator of The Office, I like him even more.

This is one of the most surprising movies I have seen in months, and I hope I watch more surprising movies. Cause this one's definitely worth a try.

The Nice Guys (2016)
9/10
A fun tribute to '70s mystery movies.
5 March 2021
Shane Black has made movies like Iron Man 3 and Kiss Kiss Bang Bang (a movie I haven't seen yet). Now, he's going for the '70s mystery genre. KKBB is kinda mystery too (I suppose), but this time he's doing classic '70s style. I love it. The Nice Guys made me laugh many times, and the chemistry between Russell Crowe and Ryan Gosling is just so beautiful and funny.

I love this movie very much. I laughed many times, but not as many times as other movies I like to watch. If I should compare this movie to another movie, it would be KKBB, but I haven't seen it yet, so I'm instead going for 21 Jump Street. The plot isn't near the same as here, but the humour kinda is. The Nice Guys is the '70s 21 Jump Street. And also, Russell Crowe and Ryan Gosling is almost as funny as Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum.

I like much of this movie, and I laughed when I should laugh. Laughter is the first ingredient in a comedy. Normally, I would talk about the cast, but every supporting character is being overshadowed by Russell Crowe and Ryan Gosling. A quick shout-out to Angourie Rice too. She is almost perfect in this movie as Ryan Gosling's clever, but a little bit irritating daughter. Another funny actor is Matt Bomer as the assassin who's gonna kill Russell Crowe and Ryan Gosling. He's near perfect too.

Be aware of the movie's R-rating. I mean, I guess you know it, but just like Sausage Party, that's NOT a movie for kids. Not this one, either. I almost did watch this one with my parents. I suggest you read the plot before you do anything like that.

Anyway, this is a movie that's definitely worth watching. It's a very good and funny movie, but it don't reach the top list of my best movies.

Date Night (2010)
7/10
Not that bad.
5 March 2021
Date Night has one of the biggest and greatest casts I've ever seen. This movie is also quite hilarious at times, but not as funny as Game Night (2018). Both movies is about a couple who's trying to enjoy a night out, but ends up in big trouble. These two movies would be an easy comparison, but an easier comparison, is The Lovebirds.

As I said in the beginning, the casting is amazing. I like Steve Carell a lot. He's very funny after watching him in The Office, Get Smart, and The 40-Year-Old Virgin. I haven't actually seen Tina Fey a lot. I have seen her in some movies, but I haven't seen 30 Rock yet. In other roles, we have Mark Wahlberg, Taraji P. Henson, James Franco, Mila Kunis, Mark Ruffalo, Kristen Wiig, Jimmi Simpson, Common, William Fichtner, and Leighton Meester amongst many others. There is a lot of cameos too, but I won't spoil them.

I really enjoyed watching this film, but ends up a little bit empty in my head. It's an easy recommendation if you just want to watch something a little bit funny. Then, you can watch this!

Whiplash (2014)
10/10
It's just an amazing movie.
4 March 2021
And let me start by saying: Whiplash is one of the best movies I've ever seen. Everything is so damn perfect, I almost wanted a sequel. But that would ruined this movie, so I think I'm good. This is everything what a movie should be.

I've only seen two drum movies: This one, and The Rocker. This is, with no doubt, the best. This is so amazing, fantastic, perfect, and extremely brilliant. Whiplash is a masterpiece from start to finish.

Whiplash makes you want to hop on a drum set, and just play out loud. I've actually played drums in 8 years, and has the opportunity to do that. It motivates and inspires drummers around the world, and makes them want to be better at drumming, even if they don't like to practice. This is one of the most rewatchable movies of all time, and surprisingly enough, I have only seen the movie twice. It's soon time to rewatch this masterpiece (I'm sorry for using the same words to describe this movie, but there is only a few words to explain it, and every one of them is positive).

Now, let's talk about the acting. Wow... The acting. No wonder why J.K. Simmons got an Oscar for this. It's not many people in this movie, and few of them I actually knows who are. You've got J. Jonah Jameson in one of the best supporting roles I have ever seen (and he's not very supporting in the movie). Then you have Reed Richards aka Mr Fantastic (2015), in the amazing lead role. Much better than Fantastic Four. And then you have Supergirl in some scenes, but she's not important. She's in the shadow of great talents like Miles Teller and J.K. Simmons.

This is probably the best movie of 2014, with close follow-ups by The Grand Budapest Hotel and Birdman. And everyone was cheering in the finale, cause that's one of the best finales I've seen too (especially the editing).

I really recommend checking this out. And if you don't like this movie, I will literally come to your house and kill you in your sleep. Nah, I'm just kidding. Or am I? Anyway, check this movie out.

A fun and nice wedding.
4 March 2021
To be completely honest, I've never been in a single wedding in my life. But I've seen hundreds of them in movies. Wedding Crashers, 4 Weddings And A Funeral, Hangover, Bridesmaids, Mike And Dave Need Wedding Dates, and so much, much more. This time with a little twist.

Right before I watched this movie, I didn't have a single clue about what the movie was about. Of hearing just the title, I thought it was about a man dealing with his own «love» problems, then going to a wedding, then the day repeat itselves (like a time-loop movie). I was right about the first two things, but the day does not at all repeat itself. The movie is about a man going to his sister's wedding, which ends in a complete chaos, and then it shows everything that could have been different. The movie then concentrates on two different timelines: The first and the last. The others in the middle is shown in one minute.

I was a little bit disappointed of this movie. I totally misread the plot of the movie, and it uses too long time to show the first timeline. It doesn't end before the half movie is over. It could have been shorter, and then could have showed some of the other timelines as well.

When I read about this movie, it totally sounded extremely cheap. It's not that many actors in the movie, and the only actors I know is Sam Claflin from the Hunger Games movies and PotP: On Stranger Tides, Olivia Munn (who confuses me with Olivia Wilde), Joel Fry (Yesterday), Freida Pinto (Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes), and Eleanor Tomlinson (Jack The Giant Slayer). Great, but small cast, in a (little bit) mediocre film.

But at least the movie made me laugh sometimes, and it made me turn around for all the awkwardness on the screen. The movie entertains, but disappoints. Check it out for yourself, and see if you like it!

One of the best movies of 2017.
4 March 2021
I like many of the movies with James Franco and Seth Rogen. Some of those are Pinapple Express, The Interview, and The Green Hornet. In this movie, James Franco plays the main character and Seth Rogen plays a supporting character. The other main character is played by James Franco's brother, Dave Franco. The movie is based on the real-life story of the makings of "The Room", considered as the best b-movie ever made. And let me just say, this is one of the best movies of 2017.

For actors and filmmakers who often makes silly comedies, this is more a dramedy. It's more a drama with comedic scenes. But of course it needed to be humour. It's from the guys who made This Is The End, and all the movies I mentioned above.

This is the first (and probably only) movie starring both James and Dave Franco. They give some of the best performances in their whole career. Other fantastic actors starring in this movie, except from both Francos and Seth Rogen, is Zac Efron, Josh Hutcherson, Ari Graynor, June Diane Raphael, Jason Mantzoukas, and Dave Franco's wife Alison Brie. It's an amazing cast. The movie is about Hollywood and filmmaking, so there is some cameos in the movie (which I'm not going to spoil).

This is an almost perfect movie. It's not the best movie of 2017, but it's in top 5. The only bad thing in this movie, is that after the second act, some of the characters just disappears, and comes back in at the very end. We could have at least get to know what happened to them. Anyway, I love this movie very much, and you have to see it.

The Heat (I) (2013)
6/10
A funny action comedy.
4 March 2021
The Heat is a funny action comedy from Paul Feig, that guy who directed movies like Bridesmaids, Spy, Ghostbusters, and A Simple Favor. Everyone, except the last, is with Melissa McCarthy. She is also in this one. This is not as good as Spy or Ghostbusters, but it definitely works.

Let me just say that Sandra Bullock and Melissa McCarthy is the second funniest cop duo in movies (after Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum), and they made me laugh so many times. Melissa McCarthy is funny almost every time, and she works well in this movie too. Sandra Bullock makes another type of humour. She is well-known for the Miss Congeniality movies, and more serious roles like in Gravity and Bird Box. But together, they are hilarious. They work extremely well together, and they made me laugh much.

If you have seen (at least) one of the five movies from Paul Feig, then you probably know which movie this is. I suggest you watch it (for a couple of laughs), but if I had to choose between his movies, I would rather go with Spy.

Spy (2015)
8/10
A funny spy comedy.
3 March 2021
Paul Feig and Melissa McCarthy is back with Spy. As far as I can see, they have completely succeeded. Spy is one of my favorite action comedies, and should be well received.

First time I saw this movie, I thought "Alright. This is okay." I didn't like it as much as I did the next times. I've recently watched the movie, and I thought "This is pretty hilarious." I laughed in almost every scene. Much of this movie is comedic genius, and made me laugh extremely hard.

One of the reasons to this, is the cast. They are divided into two groups: Americans and Brits. Some is Americans and some is Brits. The Americans is Melissa McCarthy, Bobby Cannavale, Allisson Janney, and Morena Baccarin. The Brits is Jude Law, Jason Statham, Miranda Hart, and Peter Serafinowicz. And then, there's Rose Byrne as the Australian. Melissa McCarthy is as funny as she always is, and makes some of the best and funniest scenes in the movie. She plays the leading role perfectly. But the best performance in the movie, is by no doubt Jason Statham. He is the funniest he has ever been. And for a guy whose chasing and killing bad guys, and driving in car chases, he's pretty hilarious as the spy who wants to do everything himself.

This is a very funny spy comedy which works pretty well, and I'm just waiting on the sequel (please, let it be). The only bad thing in the movie, is that I see potensial several places where the movie could have been better. But it doesn't do what you'd expect sometimes, and it's a little bit irritating. I like this movie very much, but it isn't near the top of the list. But if you want some fun, this is a solid recommendation.

Deadpool 2 (2018)
10/10
The funniest superhero movie yet.
3 March 2021
Ryan Reynolds is back as Deadpool. Well, he actually was back for 2 years and 10 months ago, but still...! I enjoyed the first Deadpool movie very much, but Deadpool 2 is most likely funnier and better than the first Deadpool was. I like everything in this movie, and I've watched it several times. It's just so freaking funny.

I like this sequel better than the first movie of several reasons. It's funnier, it's more violent, and it has a stunning cast and a lot of movie references. This is a perfect superhero movie which does almost everything perfect.

The casting in this movie is brilliantly perfect. I love Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool. He's just made for the role. The movie also has a lot of funny cameos from Brad Pitt, Matt Damon and Alan Tudyk amongst others. In supporting roles, we have (again) Morena Baccarin, Karan Soni and T.J. Miller from the first movie, and the newcomers, Josh Brolin, Julian Dennisson, and Zazie Beetz. It's just amazing.

But then again, this movie is extremely funny, and better than the first movie. I really recommend it. Go check it out!

A dark, funny and serious crime drama.
2 March 2021
There is a lot of movies that has some okay moments, but great highlights near the end. Examples of those movies is Bad Times At The El Royale, Ready Or Not, and Sorry To Bother You. I love these movies because of the highlights. Well, I like everything in most of the movies, but some scenes makes the movies better. There is also a lot of films that can have a serious theme, and mix it with dark humour. Examples of those movies, is BlacKkKlansman, Hunt For The Wilderpeople, and Jojo Rabbit. Well, Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri can write its name on both of the lists, 'cause this movie is amazing.

It manages to have a dark and serious theme, and mix it well together with extremely dark humour, so it don't get too dark and gloomy. Almost everything in this movie is perfect, and some of the actor performances made me want to cry. That's how good this movie is.

Everything in the movie builds on the highlight in the end, which is one of the reasons I saw this movie. There is a plot twist about 40 minutes in the movie which you probably don't expect the first time you watches it, if you haven't read about the movie. It keeps you guessing on which turns this movie will take. Everything becomes much, much darker and sadder and more serious than the first part. The bad thing in this movie, is that right after some of the sad scenes is done, the movie chooses to build on another scene with more dark humour, which totally kills the mode everyone is in. That's the only bad thing in this movie. Rest of the movie, is fantastic.

The cast in this movie, is also fantastic. You've got an amazing Frances McDormand in the kead role, accompanied by famous actors like Woody Harrelson, Caleb Landry Jones, Abbie Cornish, Peter Dinklage, Lucas Hedges, Kathryn Newton, Samara Weaving, and John Hawkes. But perhaps my favorite in the movies is Sam Rockwell as a drunk policeman who's struggling with doing the right stuff. The highlight in the movie, is when he, at the end, tries to impress his boss with solving a long-lasting major case. Just watch the movie if you haven't already.

Everything in this movie is a total blast, from start to finish. This is an almost perfect dramacomedy, and you'll maybe feel like there's a little bit thriller in some of the scenes as well. This is a strong recommended movie with an important message. Go watch it!

Deadpool (2016)
8/10
Funny, bloody and entertaining superhero movie.
1 March 2021
Deadpool is the new superhero movie starring Ryan Reynolds. Well, it's not new anymore. The movie came out 5 years ago, and I didn't see the movie because I didn't expect it to be good. Do you remember Green Lantern? Yep, that's why!

I watched the movie because my brother forced me. I agreed on the terms, and it was more fun than I'd really expected. I've already watched the movie 3 times, and watched the sequel even more times. I actually likes the sequel a little bit more. There's several reasons why. It's a little bit funnier, arguably more violent, and not as vulgar as the first one. This movie is also hilariously violent and funny. This is one of the funniest superhero movies I've seen, and should be watched by every adult superhero fan.

Ryan Reynolds is perfect as Deadpool. He does the movie a complete comedy, and breaks the 4th wall several times. He even jokes about it. He even jokes about himself. There's references to Green Lantern, Wolverine, X-Men, Professor X, and Ryan Reynolds. It makes everything so fun to watch. Even Ed Skrein is perfection as Ajax, the british supervillain who ruined Wade's life.

I know I've sad that Deadpool 2's better, but one thing this movie does better, is the storytelling. It begins in a violent action scene where Deadpool kills a bunch of men. And so, it jumps back two years before this, and tells his happy life until he gets cancer and takes the opportunity to get a cure. Well, it ruined his life.

This is with no doubt a highly recommended superhero movie if you want to have some fun. Well, this movie gives you an overload of fun. The only bad thing in this movie is that there is some serious and emotional scenes in the movie, as well. It completely blocks some of the dark humour that ends the scene. These scenes didn't have to be in this movie, or at least they could have made it shorter. Another bad thing in the movie is that it has some moments where you just want to see action without humour. But there is humour in every action scene. You may don't want to laugh, but you do it anyway. That's kinda irritating. Besides from that, almost everything that's meant to be funny is funny. You should definitely give this movie (and the sequel) a chance.

A very special and funny crime comedy.
1 March 2021
I had only seen two Wes Anderson movies before I saw this one: Fantastic Mr. Fox and Isle Of Dogs, both animated. But The Grand Budapest Hotel has to be my favorite. The first time I saw this movie, I didn't quite understand it. But I at least thought it was funny. I wanted to rewatch this movie again for 7 months, and now I finally did. And now, I understood it more.

Now, this is one of my favorite movies. It had some (probably) unnecessary scenes, but I laughed quite a lot. This is one of the most special and funniest crime movies I've ever seen.

The cast in this movie is one of the biggest I've ever seen. Celebrities coming in as main characters, supporting characters and cameos. This is very fun. In the big leads of this movie, we have Ralph Fiennes and Tony Revolori. In other roles, we have Saorsie Ronan, Bill Murray, Owen Wilson, Jason Schwartzman, Jude Law, F. Murray Abraham, Adrien Brody, Willem Dafoe, Harvey Keitel, Tilda Swinton and Tom Wilkinson amongst others. Wow! I'm giving a huge "Thanks!" to all the actors supporting this masterpiece. Especially Ralph Fiennes, an actor known for serious work in movies like Schindler's List and Harry Potter. Well, this is some of the funniest actor performances I've seen, not just from him, but from any actor.

This is a funny and unconvential movie, that has some problems. This movie is a masterpiece. Enjoy!
