Paz de la Huerta is amazing
2 February 2020
Paz de la Huerta is my favorite actress. She is so real and brings real emotion to her movies constantly. Learning about what she has gone through in the press has been constantly heart breaking. It is hard to watch her movies now without seeing the abuse she suffered. Death in the Desert is an underrated movie.

Pro-underdog, anti-abuse movie
2 February 2020
The costumes, set design, music, and acting are all superb. The film has themes of abuse, alienation, gaslighting. It's about the end of the world. Millions die while they're trapped in quarantine. We don't know who to root for after a while because everyone is the victim of everyone. The movie attempts to find the gray area in every extreme situation. At the same time there is a feeling like judge TV shows or wrestling shows that it's pure crazy fun.

Beautiful costumes, sets, so so movie

That is about all there is to say about this. Nothing happens. They cut across times never telling you when confusing the audience. But it is so pretty to look at, even if they're all so unlikeable in this performance of it, it's still a good time. I would never watch this again though but for the only female movie in the box office you have to give it a bonus.

Underwater (2020)

Can we say Kristen Stewart's career is over yet?
2 February 2020
Underwater wouldn't even fare as a theatrical release, it has DTV quality. The sets feel cheap and low budget, the cinematography lifeless. It has no atmosphere for being underwater that is its biggest crime. But the acting. Kristen is terrible. TJ Miller, yes that guy who committed terrorist acts, still gets put in movies. I wish I could get a refund. We have seen this same script about eight hundred times.

Worst film I've ever seen
2 February 2020
It's like they're trying to copy every single art house horror cliche of what's popular today from A2... except forgetting it is not about copying other peoples style, it is about the originality that makes them good. It's not smart. It's not chilling. It's not interesting. Worst of all it's boring.
