Figure It Out (1997)
What happened to this show???
Figure It Out was one of my personal favorite shows a couple years back. I didn't miss a single episode when I came home from school. But around two years ago and as of now, the show hasn't been on Nick anymore. I have no idea if it really was taken off. "SOME" of the kids' talents the show put on were dull and not exciting. Maybe the show couldn't find many gifted kids with GREAT and EXCITING talents???
Adventures in Wonderland (1992)
I would like to see this on TV again.
All children should watch this show. It's educational, funny (sometimes even hilarious), and fun. It has many songs, good problems to teach kids, and "regular," but somewhat nicer wonderland characters. For all parents who are reading this comment right now, next time when you're at the video rental, rent and watch this show to see if YOU think this is a GREAT children's series.
Password Plus (1979)
The best revival of any game show.
I really like to watch this show on the weekends, right after I watch the original Password. I love to solve the password puzzles, watch to see if the contestants win in the Alphabetics Round, and try to think of clues for every single password. I heard this show was never a big hit when it returned on television, but it was very good revival. (Allen Ludden will be sorely missed)
Off the Wall (1998)
Good Thing it wasn't on for long.
I remember when this "game show" first appeared on The Disney Channel in July of 1998. I watched the first several episodes and they weren't too bad. But then after a while, this show got a little bit boring and stupid. The show was about 2 teams with 3 "teenaged" contestants choosing 1 of the "9 video challengers" on a screen and trying to beat them at a game. For example, who could stack as many pancakes on their frying pan like helments in 30 seconds, who could stick the most straws in their hair (you could probably predict who could win that), etc. The team who had the most points from beating their video challengers would go on to the bonus round. But I forget how the Bonus Round was played. The only reason I could figure out why this show got boring was because the games just weren't that exciting and that you couldn't really play along like most game shows. The host Larry Zeno was just too weird. He had a bad hair dew which I can't believe he could withstand it (maybe it was just a wig, I don't know). Even some of the contestants made comments on his bad hair dew. If you happen to see this show on tv, watch a couple of episodes and you could see how it could get a little boring.
