Spinning Out (2020)
Netflix is toxic
Yet another terrible depiction of the mental disorder Bipolar. Netflix needs to stop pushing these topics into their series without doing proper research on what these disorders are actually like. It gives us ppl who actually struggle with it a bad name and the taboo will never be lifted if organisations like Netflix keep abusing it to make things 'more exciting'.
Practically all but two or three characters are very unlikeable and unrealistically selfish and stubborn, making it harder to watch the deeper you get into the season.
It's a good thing they cancelled season two. It was outrageous.
The Vanilla Ice Project (2010)
Same every time
Every single house thatnis rebuilt in this show, ends up with the same pallette of colors and materials making it fun to watch him remodel 1 or 2 houses, but there after its just the same
And the same. And more of the same.
He can't see to talk normally either. Everything is told as if they had just created the next world wonder.
Ginny & Georgia (2021)
Over the top
While the first 2 or 3 episodes are very entertaining, the show goes down hill rather quickly after that.
Ginny becomes a constantly angry entitled b*tch and insufferable to watch after the 7th epsiode.
To further you get into the season, the more boxes with clichés are pulled open and thrown into the mix. When the P.I. managed to understad what happened to Georgia's ex-husband by looking at a photo, singling out 1 plant in a garden full of various other olants to find the 1 poisonous one? That was pretty much the end to me. Weak, cheap, and disappointing.
The Lodge (2019)
Is this a thriller/horror?
The lodge has a very far searched plot with many long stretched scenes that barely add to the story and seem like a poor attempt to build viewers experience and set a mood.
Felt bored halfway down the movie and actually fell asleep at one point, missing a moment that was build onto during the movie, but (again) didn't add anything in particular.
Really, this should be under genre psychological thriller and even then it doesn't really manage to keep you on the edge of your seat.
