Hitch (I) (2005)
2/10
The Standard male-bashing vomit
21 January 2007
Warning: Spoilers
This is a comedy/romance movie directed by Andy Tennant, starring Will Smith, Eva Mendes and Kevin James.

It is about a professional dating doctor -Will Smith - known as 'Hitch' who helps men to land dates with the women they are interested in. He is currently helping a shapely, clumsy Albert who is obsessed with a very powerful, famous and rich woman called Allegra. At the same time, Hitch has become interested in a gossip columnist, Sara, - Eva Mendes - who has been assigned to write about Allegra. When the best girlfriend of Sara has a love disillusion with a man that Sara thinks that is a client of Hitch, she plots a revenge against Hitch and the misunderstanding leads the two couples to a conflictive situation This film is not one that men should see as it has a lot of male-bashing and both subtle and blatant male-hating. There are also double standards that you would have to be blind not to spot. Hitch and Sara are both very guarded around the opposite sex, Hitch still likes women despite his burns from them in the past and is teaching men to make them happy. But of course Sara, is a sexist bigot who makes frequent sexist comments along the lines of "men want to have sex with anything that walks." Shes self-obsessed and knows she looks like a goddess and knows there are no 'real men' out there. What annoyed me most of all was the 'bad' guy who wanted a quick fumble with Sara's best friend who is the classic example of a defenceless 'victim' and even after being turned down physically by Hitch, receives as blow to the pills from Sara, after which she says "Now I'm satisfied." Add to that the "women are still oppressed" vibes you get from Allegra not being allowed to spend her own money after asking permission from a table of men. In spite of all the rubbish assumptions and generalisations - Women can always tell when you ain't being straight with them? - this movie does have the correct point that in America, love simply doesn't exist. There are some funny parts in this film, such as Albert and his dancing habits but this film overall, only beats the dreadful film Honey by a marginal amount.

Road Trip (2000)
1/10
Usual Feminist inspired garbage
7 October 2006
Warning: Spoilers
It has been a sad fact of reality these past 3 decades that demonising the entire male gender in the West, especially white males, has become the norm and frequently used as entertainment whenever possible. Brainless films like this pollute the minds of young women and men by promoting the idea that all men are "perverted pigs" who only think about or care about sex. While it is true due to thousands of years of evolution that men are inclined to wish to copulate with more than one female, it is seen fit by the monstrous feminist dominated society of self-centred sexist sows who feel they are the victim no matter what. to scorn and mock this fact by brutalising men and showing them off as spineless, wussy perverts. Naked women standing in the showers going on about how no man can be trusted and how they all cheat and how they can never trust another man again. Feminists will be wetting themselves with delight as their "victim" status in society is lionised to gargantuan proportions. And this type of film is the norm these days! No wonder men are so violent in the US when all they ever see is hatred of everything male and being born with a penis. In this horrible excuse for a comedy chick flick or what ever the hell it is, we see a woman behaving extremely irrationally by decimating her boyfriend's car and then continuing to beat him nearly to death while the other students on the campus watch in amusement - the idea being that this was the wrong boyfriend as the 4 targeted men are on a road trip to Texas to stop a tape of one of them having sex with another girl to his former girlfriend. Is it even possible to imagine roles being reversed and a man beating a girlfriend he has no proof of cheating on him nearly to death and wrecking her car? We see the pathetic, insane and pitiful Tom Green having a sadistic excitement in seeing a mouse being eaten by their pet snake and of course contributes greatly with his scene stealing moments towards the main goal of this film which few men will ever see until the Men's Movement finally arrives. That is to demonise men. The only use this film will ever has is as solid proof of how men are treated in todays society. Words cannot describe how pathetic this film if it can be called that is.

Hellsing Ultimate (2006–2012)
9/10
Exceptional improvement on the TV series and possibly the most satisfying anime out there. It Delivers!
16 September 2006
Warning: Spoilers
In a nutshell, this OVA series, of which there are currently 2 volumes out of a possible 10 as it is based on the fantastic Manga, delivers. I would give the TV series which was 13 episodes long, came out in 2001 and strayed from the Manga half-way through, 2 out of 10. As far as quality in visuals, voice actors, animation, and satisfaction is concerned, it was droppings that needs flushing. The music was all that was good about it. Kohta Hirano has made a truly sensational improvement in the new OVA which has left me drooling for more. I have only seen the Japanese dub with English subtitles but I have to say that no other anime has ever held my attention and made me feel such euphoria as this one. The visuals are exponentially enhanced giving a sketchy, even cheesy animation with beautiful noir scenes of gore and elegance surpassing Elfen Lied. This OVA is also infinitely more fast paced than the TV series. In the first OVA, Ceras Victoria becomes a servant vampire to the awesome True Vampire Alucard who is the most powerful weapon of the Hellsing Organisation headed by Integral Wingates Fairbrookes Hellsing who's secret job is to keep the dark secrets in the underpants of society in the dark where they belong. And it happens quickly. In the TV series Ceras who was far cuter rather than deadly becomes and accepts being a vampire more swiftly and is almost instantly put into service and honing her skills, even nearly being killed early on by the dangerous and vile Catholic Warrior Priest Father Alexander Anderson. The characters are also far more beautifully designed and their animation is superior and generally quicker and more to the point if you know what I mean. There is a lot of stretching of the heads and such typical of Anime found frequently in Anime like Full Metal Alchemist though even more of it mostly with Ceras. In the TV series there as a lot of dragging with unnecessary scenes and pauses. Alucard's sadistic and powerful yet loyal personality are vastly improved and he looks more bad-ass and dangerous. The scene where Integral explains to the overconfident, disillusioned vampire slayer Father Anderson just a little bit of what Alucard is was absolutely phenomenal. Integral herself is vastly improved with her being more active and less manly. She actually looks beautiful in the OVA rather than androgynous and plain in the TV series. The combat scenes are to die for. They are extremely fluid and have a real vampire fair to them. In the 2nd volume where the two Valentine vampire brothers infiltrate Hellsing and cause aggravation which also happens in the TV series, their fighting scenes are jaw dropping. Where Luke Valentine meets his demise at the hands of Alucard's dogs of doom under Cromwell Level 1 effect, I felt a carnal thrill I had never even came close to feeling in the TV series. And when Ceras is being attacked - attacked being a euphemism as this OVA has implications of rape and mutilations a lot - and she turns to her vampire side and tears the ghouls to shreds like wet tissue paper and looks far fiercer than in the TV series. The story is true to the Manga and I will not spoil it for you. If you are new to Hellsing, do not buy the TV series if you want my advice. Buy the OVA as it is truly what Hellsing is all about and it is one of the most satisfying horror Anime out there and shows what amazing things the Japanese can do with out culture as well as their own. This is certainly in my top five anime of all time.

Love Hina (2000–2001)
1/10
The greatest load of hogwash I have ever seen in my life
5 August 2006
Warning: Spoilers
Anime has been corrupted. There's no doubt about that. Feminism and Political correctness is like a virus spread from the west. And its totally insidious. Love Hina is the Trojan horse that carries this virus and nearly everyone who has seen it has found the predominant male-bashing to be extremely funny and entertaining. They don't know they are infected and will probably never realise how much this wicked anime has corrupted them until its too late. This anime is a prime example of how worthless weak, spineless 'nice' guys are and how cruel the world is to them. I suppose thats a good thing seeing how half the male population can relate to him in some way and the anime does show in great realism - with the exception of throwing men miles into the air - how domestically violent women can be. I am of course one of those men who from the moment of watching it till the last episode have felt dangerously enraged and angry and downright depressed at what is definitely the furthest Anime has ever gone in tormenting the male gender - dismissing them as inferior, lazy and incompetent perverts who lack any spine or masculinity whatsoever. I am sure this anime will find a rightful place in the Men's Movement which is not far off in showing just how corrupting feminism and hence anime has really become. This anime is pitiful

A load of hokum for the feminists
3 August 2006
It seems that over the last few years feminism is getting a stronger hold on anime. This is more than evident in this picturesque and extremely depressing anime - among the same level of depressing as Neon Genesis and Elfen Lied. What I could see almost instantly that the sinister and well hidden agenda of this anime is undermine the male gender while lionising and glorifying the female. This anime is not the usual man-hating that anime like Love Hina and almost every other recent anime which is slapstick has. This is far more serious. The anime asks me were women oppressed in the preceding generation? The answer of course is yes - there were some tyrannical men who wanted to 'oppress women.' But in the World Wars hundreds of men were killed just to investigate enemy grounds - they were expendable. This anime is a prime example of a source that will be used in the approaching inevitable Men's Movement as it depicts men as evil thoughtless zombies who answer to their dodgy generals and political leaders who are killed by the two heartless female assassins as if they were nothing! An example that men are oppressed by other men yes but thats not the worst of it! Mirielle and especially Kirika unlike the men they slay so casually and cruelly - and it almost always IS men - bleed - as if trying to show they are human and the men they kill are not. The cast is all female with Chloe joining in too add to the killing. This anime lionises women with the two maidens of death hogwash that will make any male viewer who is not a complete wuss wonder about his worth as a man - its just like Lucy from Elfen Lied being made to look like a holy virgin pure daughter of the mother god! Can you imagine the success of this anime if it were two men who were killing women every episode? It would be banned from countries! It does have an interesting story I'll admit though the ending is just plain pathetic as is Kirika who is supposed to be some rip off of Rei Ayanami from Neon Genesis who's lost her memory. I can't give an anime that depressed the hell out of me a good rating. It seems that the only serious anime now a days are plagued by feminism. If its not slapstick anime where its easy to have the females kicking around the 'perverted' weak males then they'll just do anything to make females the leads and in charge and by far the stronger and more pure and innocent sex in the more powerful anime. This anime is a good watch for anyone really though. As it will further educate the male population how worthless their lives are and how hated they are and thus speed up the arrival and strengthen the backlash against the very message of this anime - feminism. People just love this anime because they are so blind to this fact.

Elfen Lied (2004)
1/10
Like NGE it was a love-hate for me
15 July 2006
Warning: Spoilers
OK, I am not very good at explaining but I have quite a bit to say about Elfen Lied. I found this anime to be better than Neon Genesis Evangelion though I still have a lot of criticisms to make. I found it to be predictable and annoying but not pointless as it does have a few important messages which can be seen by anyone I think. All my friends thought that the opening scene where Lucy kills all those soldiers to be the best opening ever and very poignant. I immediately thought it was pretty pathetic and so typical of anime - a beautiful woman killing dozens of men in a facility. So that particular idea has not been done before but there was certainly something seriously predictable and clichéd about the idea. They just have to make the guards total idiots - have they never heard of remote mines or chloroform? Obviously not as the writer probably thinks the SAT are idiots. I'm sensing a less than subtle "Hell hath fury like a woman scorned" here. And I found those "vectors" invisible arms to be pretty dumb and cheesy - like something out of Doctor Who. If the idea with all that hard core slicing in the first episode was to chill me out it didn't work. And then there were those stereotypical characters than ruined it for the most part. Kouta. Yes they just had to slot in a spineless, no balls no nothing Keitaro from Love Hina clone who is a foot kissing doormat when it comes to women and a typical pervert as most male leads are now portrayed as. Maybe Political Correctness is the new theme in Japanese anime. And don't get me started on Yuka - easily the most irritating character I have seen since Asuka from NGE. Kouta's sister and father have been murdered and she knocks him around like a punch bag just because his heart is with someone else's. And I just knew they would send a total tube like Bandoh to kill Lucy. I mean its just so predictable. You have all these anime where females are always the deadly huntresses like Noir. No it just has to be a big thuggish sadistic man and you just know what is going to happen to him. Lucy, Nana and Kurama were better characters overall. I wasn't too troubled by Nyu although the Pokémon factor of only being able to say her name was silly and of course the way other characters interacted with her was so predictable and typical of anime. Lucy while she seemed to be a cold as hell, totally unfeminine in any way and man-hating for the best part self-obsessed mess turned out to have good reasons for her actions and this anime has a real chance to shine when we see her childhood and I have little to criticise. Nana for the most part was far too cute and innocent to be put in the part she was and the situations she was in were a little unrealistic if they were real life with it being a government owned facility - though other places would do it I'm sure. I really need to say whats bugging me most about this anime though. I was very resentful of the fact that there were no strong male characters. Most of the evil of humans seen through eyes of Mayu, Lucy and Nana is almost always shown through actions of males - feminists will love this - and seems to make it seem like Lucy is the daughter of a Mother God or something that wants to create a world to punish men who oppressed women - which isn't true of course if You have read Angry Harry's articles. The only male Diclonius were ugly, powerless, incompetent half-breeds and there is no mention of any pure breed male. It makes me wonder if the 3 main Diclonius Lucy, Nana and Mariko were male then their actions would be more justified but that they would receive less sympathy. I doubt it would be as popular either. I'm just thinking aloud of course and these are just the thoughts I was thinking while watching this anime. This anime in my opinion would have done better with major role reversals for it to escape the overpowering political correctness and subtle feminist themes I can smell strongly in this anime. What I liked about this anime really was that unlike Shinji from NGE Lucy could actually silence anyone who oppressed her. And the ending scenes with Mariko and Kurama dying together was very touching. The anime did provide food for though of course and what I got from this is that the Diclonius were born in order to wipe out mankind - and mankind completely - the Diclonius would be wiped out too through competition and fighting etc. I say this because I think idea is that there is no real difference between Diclonius and humans other than the Diclonius superior powers which they can use to silence their enemies. Killing is amoral and this is attempted to be falsified through idea that the Diclonius' genes tell them to kill humans - but it is evil nonetheless and no matter what the circumstances Lucy did try to kill her fellow Diclonius and being Silpelits or not that shows me that man and mutant are no different. Everyone seems to think that Lucy is some kind of angel who although she does what she does for personal selfish reasons ultimately wants to create a new more peaceful race and that her reaction to her suffering was completely human. All in all Elfen Lied had potential to be very good but the very annoying predictable themes often seen in anime like Love Hina which just had to worm their way into EL just stagnated it almost completely though the music was very good stuff.
