Latte Igel und der magische Wasserstein (2019)
Not fun for the whole family..
Latte and the Magic Waterstone was honestly kinda boring.
It had a plot that could've worked out, if it wasn't for the numerous gaps in its logic and explanation that personally ruined the movie. I think the uninspired, boring story writing was probably the worst aspect of the movie overall. The characters did their job, but they weren't really memorable or stuck to you well.
The only thing that the movie was able to knock out of the park, however, was definitely the graphics. Each scene was definitely fresh and vivid with colour, and the textures of the things in the world were really high quality. However, the animation part of the graphics weren't great and I definitely saw better, especially when it came to lip-syncing.
Overall, an honest middle-of-the-road movie experience. It's a great movie for kids, and has a few nice values and meanings, but for older kids and adults, the movie certainly felt unfinished and rushed to some extent.
Ooops! Noah Is Gone... (2015)
Fairly Unique Movie
The film is a fun yet educational way to teach younger audiences a small bit of biblical history while maintaining a standard of appealing to almost all ages.
The animation was fairly good, whilst the films' visuals looked a bit bland and colourless. The plot and story was unique compared to other movies I've seen.
Parents - if you're looking for unique and animated film that doesn't contain much violence and teaches children a small bit of biblical education then I would recommend this movie.
Talking Tom & Friends (2014)
Used to be a funny animated show until..
Talking Tom and Friends was definitely quite an improvement in graphics when it's compared to "Disney's Talking Friends" show.
In seasons 1 and 2 - the show was a blast. It was funny, creative and had a lot of charm to it. This is what I call the "Golden Stages" of Talking Tom. Sure the Golden stages may not have the best graphics compared to seasons 3 and 4, but it did have an interesting and unique plot and story with each episode making fans wanting more.
In the more recent seasons: 3 and 4, I like to call this the "Downfall of Talking Tom". They definitely had improved when it came to graphics but that was really it. Its script was just awful with each character sounding like it was reading a terribly-made script while in The Golden Stages, it felt normal and laid-back. Its plot was even worse than its script. They constantly keep adding new characters just for the sake of a single episode and aren't thinking of what uses that character could have in the future - just a lazy way to add in another episode in this series. The story is just so awful it doesn't even feel like watching Talking Tom and Friends in the Golden Stages. It felt like a more awful show. They turned a fascinating way of showing "The Gang's" life and how they live on a daily basis with whacky and fun adventures into a series with just a rapidly quality-decreasing story. Before in the more humbler and calmer times when they were starting out, the adventures The Gang had were a lot more believable, even if they were animals. Now they create all of these high-paced, action episodes where the shock factor is covering up the logic behind these episodes with them barely making any sense. Not to mention, their work and effort in publishing these videos is just lousy. They always lay back a few weeks to legitimate months just for a few episodes then repeating the same process. Before, the series would always keep up with posting their episodes in seasons 1 - 3. In season 4, we had waited an unprecedented amount of time for only a handful of episodes.
If I were rating seasons 1 and 2, I would give an 8-10. However, If I were rating the series as a whole with the added seasons 3 and 4 - I would only give 4.
A Shaun the Sheep Movie: Farmageddon (2019)
Great for a sequel
I think that "A Shaun the Sheep Movie: Farmegeddon" is pretty good as a sequel.
For starters, the movie has greater visuals than the first film: being much more colourful and vibrant in certain scenes. The animation was also a lot more smoother and cleaner than the first film. However, I do believe the plot could be improved on and also acts very cliché-like.
For parents - I do think that this movie is very kid-friendly and would be suitable for younger audiences aged around 6 or up.
Zambezia (2012)
Fairly solid movie
I think Zambezia is fairly impressive coming from a relatively low budget.
For the most part, the movie's plot and story is fairly unique and stands out from other movies a bit. However, in some scenes of the movie it almost seems cliché-like. The film's animation may look a bit wonky and unrealistic at times as well.
Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole (2010)
One of the most impressive animated movies i've ever seen
This movie has some of the best graphics that I've ever found in an animated movie.
The animation is great whilst the film's visuals were phenomenal with its various landscapes looking unique, creative and vibrant all at the same time. Their work is especially impressive for making a realistic animated movie. The soundtrack is also quite nice: ranging from calm music to raging tracks that would work great in a battle scene.
For parents - I would recommend this movie to your children if they're mature and can better understand what is going on in the movie. Of course, this age may very from child to child but it should be for children around 8 or up.
Quackerz (2016)
Decent Movie
In my opinion, I think Quackerz is definitely in the middle between a bad movie and a good movie. I just think its in between
First off, the plot and story is a bit questionable and weird at certain times of the film. The animation may be a bit awkward and weird at certain points in the film but there are movies that are worse when it comes to the animation in Quackerz. However, the movie does have very impressive visuals which overwhelm the view with its richness in colour and vibrancy. Almost all scenes are very colourful.
For parents - I would recommend this movie for your children who are around 7 and up, as there is some violence in the ending of the movie.
