Fleabag: Episode #2.4 (2019)
In confession
This show is amazing, let's get that out of the way up front. Why only a five star review? The confession to the priest is some of the best acting I've ever seen. It was a quiet moment in the show we were there with her, feeling that pain. And just when she is about to receive genuine help in the form of a prayer and perhaps feel just a bit better, she starts making out with the priest. Why did it have to resolve to that? It did not sit right with me. Not saying she has to get all religious now, but c'mon. Afterward, she's worse than when she went in. Since I care about the character, I feel worse too.
The Walking Dead: Here's Negan (2021)
Really, how does television get better than this?
These last six episodes of The Walking Dead are the best ones of the entire series and this one is no exception. Negan's backstory is just so sad, you can't help but feel for the guy. Anyway, the writers knocked or out of the park here. So enjoy this amazing story Of one of the best villains ever.
The Walking Dead: Find Me (2021)
Phenomenal
Not only is The Walking Dead amazing for its action and horror, it is an incredible drama as well. The best writing of the entire series is done in this episode right here.
Eastbound & Down: Chapter 15 (2012)
Jumped the Shark
This show was great up until this episode, then they ran out ideas. I will try one more episode in hopes of redemption.
Vivarium (2019)
But why?
Are these two being punished or something? Are they horrible people and is that why they had to be put into this purgatory? Sure doesn't seem like it. I know not every movie needs to answer every question about what is happening, but give the viewer something. Maybe just one ah ha moment at the very least? In the end, you get nothing. I can almost hear the writers laughing at my question, they are arty for the sake of being arty and I'm sure I just don't get it. It gets three stars for performances, other than that, screw you.
1922 (2017)
This is what Stephen King movies are now??
This is just a movie about pain and suffering with some spooky Stephen King images sprinkled in every once in a while. They had to add those in so that it could be classified as a horror movie and rope people in to watch it I guess. It is not entertaining, it is just sick and sad. And that is how you will feel once you are done viewing it.
